Valley Stream North found ways to get Hill the rock, and he produced. He's attended several camps this summer and performed well. On tape, he shows his playmaking ability. He rushed for over 900 yards, made plays as a receiver and defensive back, and contributed in the return game. Hill has great vision and breakaway speed. His team started 0–3 last season, but his big performances helped them win four games and take a big step forward as a program.

Torres is a well-known baseball player, but he's certainly one of the top quarterbacks on Long Island. Plainedge gave him the keys as a sophomore, and he delivered. The first thing that stands out is his ridiculous arm strength — he has a cannon and connected on some beautiful deep passes throughout his sophomore year. He was one of the island's leaders in passing and is just getting started. With a full year of experience now, he could be in the conversation for all types of awards this season. If he attends camps, he'll be a player to watch.

Healey, the captain of South Side, will have big responsibilities on both sides of the ball. He plays both ways on the line and had an impressive junior year. He consistently paved holes for a very successful Cyclones run game. He moves well in space and plays aggressively. I was impressed with his tenacity and the energy he brings. Healey has earned multiple Division III offers, and I think that trend will continue. He could be in the conversation for the Martone Award (given to Nassau's top lineman).

People can't forget about O'Brady this upcoming season. His junior year was cut short due to injury, missing four games, but he's still one of the top prospects on Long Island. At 6'2”, 225 pounds, he's one of the hardest-hitting linebackers in the county. He had a great sophomore season, and even in limited action last year, he made eye-opening plays. As a senior, don't be surprised if Floral Park uses him at running back — his vision and strength could make him very productive. He could gain serious attention this fall.

Collins has been a cornerstone of Elmont's offensive line and put together a solid junior season. He anchored the offense from the center position and dominated up front. Elmont wasn't afraid to air it out, and Collins showcased quality pass protection while also opening up space for the run game. He uses his hands well and overpowered opponents last year. He's only gotten bigger and stronger, and I'm excited to see him shine for Elmont this season.

The Plainedge product just received an offer from Denison, and I can see many schools following. Fella excels all over the field for the Red Devils and had a tremendous junior year. He's a playmaker who can line up at running back or catch the rock in open space. Fella beats defenders with speed and vision, but his strength really stood out. He sheds tacklers with ease and consistently runs over defenders for extra yardage. He's also a great linebacker with strong instincts and made tons of tackles last season.

The first thing you notice about Kurz is his arm strength. He's a baseball player with a strong arm. At 6'2”, 190 pounds, he's a good athlete with the ability to make impressive throws on the run. He connected on deep passes last season and showed flashes of being a dual threat with his legs. I expect him to be even more dangerous on the ground this year. The talented quarterback from Clarke will be in the conversation among the top QBs in the county.

Johnson is a talented run stopper coming off a solid junior season, but a true breakout senior year could be on the horizon. As a junior, he was always around the ball, slicing through linemen to make tackles. This offseason, he looked faster and stronger — more explosive — and could really pop on film this fall. He'll lead a talented South Side defense that will be in the mix for a Nassau Conference 3 championship.

The back from Seaford is committed to West Point for lacrosse, but he played in the Rising Stars Bowl, and if he's at other summer events, he's a must-watch. Falk is one of the best multi-sport athletes on Long Island and has the ability to make electrifying plays at running back. With solid size at 6'1”, 200 pounds, he can stiff-arm defenders or juke past them for long runs. Falk is also impressive on defense — he can line up at linebacker or in the secondary and still find ways to make plays. He was a tackling machine and one of the best run stoppers in the county.

Stanley had the breakout junior season he was hoping for. He was named a Snyder Award nominee (given to Nassau's top QB). He was spectacular, throwing for 1,728 yards and 18 touchdowns — both tops in Nassau County. His accuracy stands out on tape; he made throws into tight windows and looked poised when improvising under pressure. He consistently made difficult throws against higher level defenses.
