‘30 (QB) [player_tooltip player_id='1051781' first='Caleb' last='Johnson'] - Oakland

- Taking home MVP honors for the quarterback position, Johnson had an impressive day with Prep Redzone as he displayed a variety of talents that speaks towards a possible bright future with Oakland. This 2030 signal caller was consistent throughout the day as he tested well, was very coachable during positional work and one of the better deep ball passers during 1 on 1 competition. Johnson showed solid mechanics and arm strength that will only get better as he develops further and gets older. I like the makeup of his kid and his potential moving forward. Plenty of work left to go for this guy but the tools are there to eventually start during his time at Oakland.

‘29 (QB) [player_tooltip player_id='1532694' first='Hank' last='Bloomfield'] - BGA

- Bloomfield might have been the most impressive prospect to me at Sunday's #PRZTN Middle School Showcase. This Mid-Tennessee product looked poised beyond his years with outstanding arm talent and the best footwork of all quarterbacks on hand. Bloomfield has clean mechanics with an athletic profile that allows him to do damage in and out of the pocket. He also has the arm strength to push the ball down field with accuracy and timing. He is undersized with height but the Cats quarterback makes up for it with high football knowledge. I really like the skill set here with Bloomfield and his potential as the eventual starting quarterback down the road for Battle Ground Academy.

‘29 (RB) [player_tooltip player_id='1641927' first='Joseph' last='(Joe Joe) French'] - Beech

- Last Sunday was the first opportunity for me to scout this Mid-Tennessee product in person and I really like what I saw from this future Buccaneer ball carrier. Sporting good size with a physically well built frame, French had an impressive performance at our Showcase where he displayed a nice combination of power, speed and the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. I thought French did some good work during the positional portion of camp where he proved to be very coachable and able to handle anything thrown at him. French will need to continue increasing his agility and speed but the raw tools are there to carve out a big role during his high school time with Beech.

‘30 (RB) K.J. Baker - Brentwood Academy

- The future at running back for the Eagles could come from this 5'9 physical runner that came away as MVP for his position at the #PRZTN Middle School Showcase. Baker had an impressive day from start to finish where he displayed nice balance, good footwork and solid hands catching the ball out of the backfield. Another factor I liked about Baker was how physically fit he was at such a young age. That tells me that the Eagles running back should have the build and power to sustain a nice career once he reaches the high school level. Continued work will be needed with his speed but I like what I see in Baker and his makeup as a potential starting running back down the road.

‘29 (WR) T.J. Brinkley - Oakland

- One of the more impressive natural athletes we had last weekend was this Murfreesboro area native that shows upside for either side of the ball. Most of his work at our Showcase was done at receiver where Brinkley displayed quick feet and excellent route running along with the ability to make tough, contested catches. The Patriots wideout also showed a calm, poised demeanor throughout camp that told me the guy is confident with his game and doesn't get phased. There is plenty to work on for Brinkley as he needs to get bigger and faster but the athletic tools are there to certainly develop one day into a potential starting receiver for the Patriots offense.

‘29 (WR) [player_tooltip player_id='1669056' first='Trevon' last='Tyson'] - Pope Prep

- Tyson is one guy marked here among the offensive top players that could develop into a defender down the road but for now, this future Pope Prep athlete makes this list after a solid day's work on offense last weekend at the #PRZTN Middle School Showcase. The Knights incoming freshman showed up well during positional drills then proceeded to put in some good action during the 1 on 1 portion of camp. Tyson displayed nice speed coming off the line as well as making several tough catches with defenders close by. There is still a lot to learn about Tyson as I could honestly see him growing into either a receiver or safety during his time at Pope Prep but I like the versatility here and his future with the Knights.

‘30 (WR) [player_tooltip player_id='1668349' first='Jamarius' last='Hollingsworth'] - Grace Cath. MS (Knox. Catholic)

- Athletic with quick feet and the ability to separate, Hollingsworth caught my eye early in camp and continued to impress till the very end. This East Tennessee product may be small in stature with a lot of growing left to go but Hollingsworth is a big play threat waiting to happen that gets in and out of breaks fast then separates due to his explosive speed. Out of all the receivers at camp, Hollingsworth might have tested the best while being one of the top performers during positional drills. I can see potential here with this versatile pass catcher as Hollingsworth could develop into a gadget guy that could do several high quality things on the offensive side of the ball.

‘30 (WR) [player_tooltip player_id='1306170' first='Draedon' last='Littlejohn'] - Boyle Co. (Ky)

- An unknown to me headed into the Middle School Showcase, Littlejohn was a guy that stood out to me early during testing and continued to put in strong work throughout, proving to be one of the better receiver performers of camp. Standing nearly 6 '0 with a muscle based frame that will get bigger, this Kentucky native showed some of the best hands of all along while making tough contested catches with strong concentration. While Littlejohn performed at camp and excelled at receiver, I could see him developing into other positions down the road. That's how athletic and talented this young man is and how good he could be in the future with further growth and development.

‘29 (TE/LB) [player_tooltip player_id='1530133' first='Cooper' last='Seeley'] - Beech

- Years down the road, this Mid-Tennessee prospect could prove to be one of the top tight end prospects from his class as I saw strong potential with Seeley throughout camp. This 6'1 chiseled up pass catcher had a solid day at the #PRZTN Middle School Showcase where he displayed excellent body control, strong hands and the ability to create separation. Seeley was as consistent as anybody throughout the day. This guy is a worker that is highly coachable with a versatile skill set. While I do like him as a future tight end, I could see the Bucs incoming freshman developing at linebacker as well. It will be fun to watch this guy grow over the coming years as I see a bright future for Seeley on either side of the ball.

- - - - -

‘29 (OL) Bryson Kirkpatrick - Knox. Catholic

- This East Tennessee big man had himself a good day at the #PRZTN Middle School Showcase as Kirkpatrick walked away as the MVP for his position and one of the better lineman prospects from camp. His consistent work throughout the day earned him top honors but also showed why he could be a force to keep an eye on down the road with the Fighting Irish. Kirkpatrick is very coachable and got better as the camp went on. He did a good job of moving his feet and keeping defenders in front of him while also displaying good upper body strength and strong hands. Kirkpatrick needs tons of time to continue getting bigger and developing but the makeup of a future starter up front is certainly there.
