With the PRZ rankings being updated in the coming weeks we will take a look at a few athletes on each side of the ball who could make a nice jump up the board. Camp season is in full effect right now with these individuals being ones to watch..

[player_tooltip player_id='1568790' first='Emet' last='Ordway'] 5-10 225 26' LB Battle Ground

Ordway played out of position for Battle Ground earning 4A 1st team all-conference honors on the O line. This accolade was made even more impressive with his team going 3-6 overall and not winning a league game. Look for him to project at LB and continue to do well on the camp circuit.

[player_tooltip player_id='1678949' first='Owen' last='Fitch'] 6-2 235 27' LB Ephrata

The 2A standout averaged 6 tackles per game as a sophomore and has great size for such a young athlete. He should continue to up his stock over the off season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1691685' first='Jayland' last='Coleman'] 6-2 215 27' LB Woodinville

One of the fastest rising stocks of any athlete in the 2027 class. Coleman has done well as part of FSP and has the potential of being a 1st or 2nd team all Kingco guy next season. He will be one to watch at the NW Showcase on June 17th.

[player_tooltip player_id='1691667' first='Sylen' last='Kiesel-Kauhane'] 6-4 215 26' LB Richland

Definitely a kid to pay attention to on the camp circuit and heading into next season. The 6-4 three-sport athlete is an intriguing prospect, especially after making 98 tackles with 6 TFLs as a junior.

[player_tooltip player_id='1691690' first='Nick' last='Simms'] 5-8 150 28' CB Bellevue

The Wolverines continue to churn out top talent and they have a bunch of young guys coming up who can play. Simms played a role as part of FSP and should be a legit contributor on D for Bellevue next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1679403' first='Nick' last='Norrah'] 6-3 195 26' DB/ LB Bellevue

The 3* talent has racked up a handful of D1 offers and is considered one of the top defensive players in WA. I could see him adding multiple offers at the upcoming NW Showcase as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1691668' first='Shanden' last='Thedford Jr.'] 6-1 180 26' DB Bonney Lake

Thedford has great size for the position and is one of the fastest athletes in WA. He's done well as part of RISE over the off season and will be a guy looked at consistently on the camp circuit.

[player_tooltip player_id='1691671' first='Braylen' last='Pope'] 6-4 245 26' DL Liberty

Pope brings a lot to the table with his 6-4 frame and good junior film. He was one of the leaders in sacks within his conference last season and has the potential of being a legit contributor collegiately.

[player_tooltip player_id='1606270' first='Kaden' last='Kooner'] 6-3 235 27' DE Bellevue

Kooner is another prospect with size that you will hear a lot about in the years ahead. Bellevue will continue to rank among the top teams in the West with multiple young athletes playing a role.

[player_tooltip player_id='1691672' first='Leul' last='Hailemariam'] 6-3 280 26' DL Tahoma

There is still a lot yet to be determined here but Hailemariam looks the part and could continue to help himself out at up-and-coming camps. He has been impressive in the weight room, and we will see if that translates on the field.

[player_tooltip player_id='1691687' first='Colten' last='Nibler'] 6-3 225 27' DL Skyview

The Storm have one of the top LB groups and 2027 defense's returning in the state. They lose a couple key components up front on the D line to graduation and Nibler will likely be called upon to make up for that.

[player_tooltip player_id='1691673' first='Malachi' last='Ebai'] 6-3 245 26' DL Oak Harbor

Not a lot of people are aware of Ebai yet, but he had a nice junior year, making 41 tackles with 6 TFL's. Look for the standout wrestler to get in the mix at the NW Showcase and do well.
