The state of Washington may see a rise in significant quarterback play in the classes of 2027, 2028 and 2029.

Currently, the top dawgs are Lincoln's [player_tooltip player_id='1188085' first='Sione' last='Kaho'] and Graham-Kapowsin's A.J. Tuivaiave, but more than a dozen other quarterbacks are beginning to emerge.

Here's a look at the top young quarterbacks in the state of Washington.

Of note, "Part 1" and "Part 2" are not split up by ranking or class, but rather simply a two-part list. To emphasize that point, Kaho and Tuivaiave are purposely on separate parts despite being the top two quarterbacks in the state currently.

Check out Part 1.

Anybody not on the list that deserves mention? Eastside Catholic starter had a strong junior campaign, but the numbers don't tell the whole story.

The 6-foot-2, 175-pound passer was a first-team all-Metro quarterback and led his team to the state semifinals, but still played a complete game just a handful of time due to blowouts.

He finished the season with 2,255 yards and 25 touchdowns with just 4 complete games.

[player_tooltip player_id='868722' first='Lukas' last='Lalji'], Lynden (2027)

A 4.0 GPA student, Lalii is also a high-end athlete.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound playmaker runs a 4.5 40 with a 10-3 broad jump, 36-inch vertical leap and is flirting with a sub-11 100.

[player_tooltip player_id='1188108' first='Brayden' last='Paulino'], Emerald Ridge (2027)

The 6-foot-1, 165-pound passer was an SPSL honorable mention selection.

[player_tooltip player_id='1605386' first='Luke' last='Parker'], Puyallup (2027)

The do-it-all quarterback/wide receiver/defensive back was the SPSL athlete of the year.

He has contribute at a high level wherever and whenever he steps on the field and his ability to impact a game has been immeasurable.

He's exactly what high school football is all about.

[player_tooltip player_id='1557937' first='Jadis' last='Lefono'], Lakes (2029)

Lefono was off the charts good all year for a Lakes team that finished 10-2. It's rare to have a freshman lead and dominate like he did, finishing the season with 27 TD's (17 passing, 10 rushing) with 2,196 total yards. His 6.35 yards per carry average speaks to his ridiculous athleticism.

[player_tooltip player_id='1906030' first='Drew' last='Sorensen'], Woodinville (2029)

An all-conference selection as a freshman, [player_tooltip player_id='1906030' first='Drew' last='Sorensen'] grew for 1,216 yards and 11 touchdowns., completing 66 percent of his passes while starting just five games.

He's clearly a player to watch going forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='570837' first='Jagger' last='McEwen'], Kamiakin (2029)

Started as a freshman and played in all but 16 quarters, [player_tooltip player_id='570837' first='Jagger' last='McEwen'] threw for 1,658 yards for 21 touchdowns and eight interceptions.

The 6-foot-3, 175-pound signal-caller will fill out and has an intriguing ceiling.

[player_tooltip player_id='1550179' first='Desmond' last='Parkinson'], West Seattle (2027)

[player_tooltip player_id='1550179' first='Desmond' last='Parkinson'] had a big junior season, earning West Seattle High School Offensive Player of the Year and 3A Metro League Offensive Player of the Year.

The 5-foot-11, 170-pound passer threw for 2,175 yards with 23 touchdowns.

Cordae Norling, Cascade Christian (2029)

The Cascade Christian freshman had a stellar start to the season, as his partial freshman film shows.

In six games, he threw for 1,963 yards with 21 touchdowns and led Cascade Christian to the state title game.

Norling is clearly a player to watch, as he was one of the state's most productive freshmen.

The state of Washington may see a rise in significant quarterback play in the classes of 2027, 2028 and 2029.
