Ford Sports Performance held a two-day training camp last week, featuring more than four dozen top kids from the state of Washington — and beyond.

Here's a look at the standouts, including quotes from FSP CEO Tracy Ford:

Overall MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='2087218' first='Noah' last='Smith'], Puyallup (2027)

“He had the best two days of anybody. He showed he could make all the throws and led the way offensively.”

Smith has been stellar over the past several months and is clearly an ascending player.

Athlete MVP: Justyce Huff, Kennedy Catholic (2028)

“A kid that really showed up to play was Justice Huff. He's like a tight end body. He made almost every difficult catch there was. I thought he was really good and he's got a lot of promise. He's young, so he's a kid who should do really well.”

Of note, Huff is the son of former NFL'er Orlando Huff and is also a standout baseball recruit.

[player_tooltip player_id='1368355' first='Jaidan' last='Hammer'], Kennedy Catholic (2027)

“He had a very, very good overall camp,” Ford said. “He's a safety and took the ball away.”

Hammer is a standout

OL/DL MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='1857585' first='Kyler' last='Harden'], O'Dea (2028)

“I think he's going to have everybody in the country before it's all done. He'll be one of the most highly recruited guys in our state and region. He's got the size, the strength and the athleticism. He was damn good all weekend and was the top lineman.”

The 6-foot-5, 280-pound offensive lineman currently boasts an offer from Idaho, but there is significant growing belief that he is one of the highest risers among linemen on the West Coast.

DB MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='1733964' first='Daniel' last='Haynes'],

“He's got a lot of promise with his length and size. His Hudl doesn't show his true potential. When people see him in the spring I think people will fall in love with him. He had a great two days.”

[player_tooltip player_id='1733964' first='Daniel' last='Haynes'] has ascended significantly in the past few months and could really pop this spring.

He has a chance to be a multi-offer recruit has he gains more exposure.

Newcomer MVP: Antoine Wiliams Jr. Decatur (2028)

“He's 6-foot-6. We had a kid Cole Weillver years ago and he reminds me of Cole. He's got a big arm and a 6-6 frame. He really came to the party as a 2028. He had a great sophomore season and I think he's got a lot of promise. He's a guy that you can work with and will be pretty good when it's all said and done.”

Given his size, Williams will have plenty of eyes on him over the next 12 months.

He's yet another Washington prospect who could jump significantly if he continues his momentum.

Standouts

Markel Newell, Puyallup (2027)

“He was solid all week,” Ford said. “A lot of big steps in the right direction. I think he's a safety in college. He's fiery and made plays. He's violent.”

Prep Redzone continues to be sky-high on Newell, who we believe should be a big-time, multi-offer prospect.

We're all-in on him being a big-time playmaker.

Mahki Fields, Rainier Beach (2028)

“He was really, really solid. I don't think he got his name called much, but that's good news when you're a corner. I don't remember any balls caught on him.”

Fields has an early offer from Sacramento State and could “pop” with a big offseason.

He's clearly a player to keep an eye on.

Team FSP will have an alumni game this weekend, then will it training until the FSP Invite in January 24.
