Camas has a pair of the region's top OL with 6-5 270-pound [player_tooltip player_id='2084549' first='Matthew' last='Kirchoff'] being one of WA's fastest rising prospects and 2x 1st team all GSHL lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1530804' first='Cade' last='Hergert'] representing. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='726171' first='Griffin' last='Matzen'] of O'Dea helped his team win back-to-back titles. He has a preferred walk on from Portland St and an offer from one of the top D2's in America in Colorado School of the Mines. 3* [player_tooltip player_id='1655943' first='Sebastian' last='Cugini'] of Juanita signed with D1 Lehigh a few weeks back, with [player_tooltip player_id='643215' first='Preston' last='Liberal'] of Puyallup being one of the top interior guys in the entire NW.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Don't sleep on 6-5 prospects [player_tooltip player_id='1691676' first='Alex' last='Dayoob'] of Seton Catholic and [player_tooltip player_id='1663106' first='Samuel' last='Wilkes'] of Issaquah. Both are garnering significant interest from D2s on down.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There were numerous guys at the skill positions who stood out. QB [player_tooltip player_id='726169' first='Nate' last='Donavan'] led Sumner to its second straight 4A title in a row. Statistically, he was average hitting on 58% of his passes with 16 TD's/9 INTs. Two of the fastest risers at the quarterback spot were GSHL Offensive POY [player_tooltip player_id='1700380' first='Ethan' last='Adams'] of Battle Ground and [player_tooltip player_id='726176' first='Landon' last='Thomas'] of Mead who will not pursue college football.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>6-4 240-pound TE/WR Marquese Meneese of Rainier Beach earned 1st team all-conference honors for the second year in a row and was ranked #51 on the top 300. He has the size and all of the intangibles to be a guy at the D1 level if given the opportunity.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Other individuals already committed to division 1 universities include Guilio Banchero of O'Dea who signed with Eastern Washington and 6-5 athlete [player_tooltip player_id='1165448' first='Ethan' last='Rodriguez'] who finished his career at 1A Rochester with 4200+ yards and 55 TDs. He is committed to Idaho.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Additional WR's who killed it include [player_tooltip player_id='1165348' first='Luke' last='Morgan'] of Skyline who was offered by D1 San Diego. He was a 3-way 1st&nbsp;team all-conference athlete finishing with 12 TDs and 6 INTs. [player_tooltip player_id='1694512' first='Owen' last='Milnes'] of Woodinville also broke out, racking up 1st&nbsp;team all KingCo honors while catching 39 balls for 676 yards and 10 TDs. [player_tooltip player_id='1530807' first='Grant' last='Smith'] of Moses Lake had an unreal stat line for the year hauling in 71 passes for 1,040 yards and 22 TDs.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the biggest sleepers statewide came in 6-4 230-pound TE/LB [player_tooltip player_id='1844942' first='Gage' last='Williams'] of Chiawana. He combined to score 43 TDs over the last two years with 100+ tackles, 26 sacks, and 29 TFL's on D. 5-9 Slot/CB [player_tooltip player_id='1354420' first='Ezra' last='Maul'] of Seattle Prep was once again a 1st&nbsp;team all-conference selection on both sides of the football. He recently committed to D1 San Diego as well.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In closing a few of the RB's who were some of the best in Washington include [player_tooltip player_id='726163' first='Uriah' last='Stringfield'] of O'Dea who has two rings to show for his accomplishments. Speedster [player_tooltip player_id='1110833' first='Isaiah' last='Owens'] of Glacier Peak was a 1st&nbsp;team all-Wesco pick, going for 1,213 rushing &amp; receiving yards and 16 total TDs.&nbsp;[player_tooltip player_id='1110181' first='Ryland' last='Geldermann'] of Curtis had an offer from D1 Idaho but committed to NAIA power College of Idaho, which is a testament to how well that program is doing. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DEFENSE</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In the secondary there are multiple D1 guys who have committed already, starting with the likes of small school standout [player_tooltip player_id='1041746' first='Luca' last='Moore'] of Anacortes who signed with Idaho and [player_tooltip player_id='1589232' first='Jake' last='Young'] of Central Valley HS who is headed to Portland St. Moore also had 1200+ yards receiving and 14 TDs with Young being a big athletic corner at 6-2/6-3. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1568786' first='AJ' last='Morton'] of Bellevue earned 1st&nbsp;team all league honors finishing his senior year with 3 INTs and 16 PBU's, with Glacier Peak's [player_tooltip player_id='1092123' first='Isaiah' last='Olson'] having surgery during the year and still totaling 8 INTs and 10 PBU's over the last two seasons. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Speaking of big corners 6-4 [player_tooltip player_id='1582216' first='Cade' last='Boehl'] of Eastside Catholic is one of the most underrated players in the region in my opinion. He was a 1st&nbsp;team all-conference selection. 6-3 Safety [player_tooltip player_id='726151' first='Dante' last='Saladino'] of Kennedy Catholic is a POY in baseball but almost equally talented on the football field if he ever wanted to pursue that route.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>6-3 225-pound LB [player_tooltip player_id='1165346' first='Shan' last='Jones'] did his thing, making 144 tackles with 25.5 TFL's, while helping the T-Birds to the 3A title game. [player_tooltip player_id='1576633' first='Dillon' last='Titialii']&nbsp;of Sumner was offered by Portland St before that staff got fired. He also recently received an offer from D2 Western New Mexico out of the Lone Star Conference. Another LB that excelled was [player_tooltip player_id='1530869' first='Hunter' last='Hixson'] of Skyline. He totaled 100+ tackles with 10 TFL's as the Spartans advanced to the state quarterfinals.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Up front on the D line [player_tooltip player_id='1589347' first='Brady' last='Knowlton'] of Chiawana earned POY honors within the conference and racked up 1st&nbsp;team all-league accolades on both sides of the football. [player_tooltip player_id='1589203' first='Cooper' last='Daines'] of Mead HS in Spokane didn't get much pub, and was a 1st&nbsp;team all-league selection on D, but committed to Washington St as a 6-5 interior O lineman.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1691673' first='Malachi' last='Ebai'] of Oak Harbor was another under the radar athlete who had an outstanding off season but missed ½ of the year due to injury. He was offered a preferred walk on by Portland St. [player_tooltip player_id='1589204' first='Skyler' last='Harty'] out of Central Valley was a big get for NAIA Montana Tech.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As a DE/OLB [player_tooltip player_id='1663137' first='Jay'Shaun' last='Banks-Hall'] of Rainier Beach garnered an early offer from Sac St and finished his senior season with 58 tackles, 15 TFL's, and 4 sacks. Fellow Metro League standout [player_tooltip player_id='1352296' first='DJ' last='Shaw'] of Eastside Catholic was the Co- D lineman of the year. Last but not least, 6-2 225-pound edge rusher [player_tooltip player_id='1969812' first='Keegan' last='Brown'] was a big reason Lake Stevens made it to the 4A title game, statistically leading everybody with 78 tackles, 31 tackles for loss, and 9 sacks.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
