More guys keep popping up, however. Here's another collection of seniors with something to prove in 2025:

Pitzen was a problem for opposing offenses in 2024. The junior collected 31.5 tackles (28 solo, 2.0 TFL) and intercepted four passes. Overshadowed at times last season on a deep and talented ADM roster, Pitzen appears ready for more recognition this season. He illustrates that during his 11th-grade highlight video. Reading and reacting quickly stand out when the tape begins. He sees where the play is going and breaks on the ball. Smooth change of direction in coverage pops out during further viewing. Pitzen embraces the game's physicality and crashes down on the run when it's time. Pitzen's potential is palpable, and he deserves more attention from colleges.

Last season ended in crushing fashion for a Sergeant Bluff-Luton outfit whose campaign ended with a one-point loss to eventual 3A champion Wahlert in the state semifinals. The Warriors will be motived to take the next step in 2025, and they should be formidable again with talent like Jervik back in the mix. As a quarterback last fall, he threw for seven touchdowns but did most of his damage on the ground, rushing for 770 yards and 10 scores. His lone reception went for 42 yards. Jervik added five solo tackles on defense. During his 11th-grade highlight video, Jervik starts with clips of him playing safety. His instincts, size and athleticism there make it a likely position in college. Some schools might prefer him with the ball in his hands as a receiver, though. Jervik can run by and through the defense when he has it.

Edney is a legitimate two-way prospect for the next level. He's athletic with a frame capable of adding mass without losing any of it. As a junior for the Panthers last season, Edney hauled in 25 passes for 387 yards and six touchdowns, adding a pair of two-point conversions. On defense, he delivered 42.0 tackles (25 solo, 2.0 TFL) and a sack. We can see how Edney operates during his 11th-grade highlight video. It's with physicality. The first clip shows him pancaking a defender while blocking as a tight end. We see a lot more of that. He's also a smooth route runner with speed for the position. On defense, he disrupts the proceedings with a combination of quickness and strength.

Hinrichs recorded four solo tackles, including one for loss last season, but most of his contributions occurred on the offensive line, which we witness when watching his junior highlight video. On it, Hinrichs flashes current production and potential for considerably more of it in the future. He's quick off of the snap on the left side of the Go-Hawks' O-Line. Athleticism, active hands and sound footwork allow him to excel at tackle on this level. His power and strength would play up even more with a move inside for college. That's not to say he can't play tackle. Plenty of programs will see developing him there as the right path. Either way, he can help plenty of schools.

The Warriors reached the postseason in 2024 with Riordan contributing on both sides of the ball. Defensively, seven of his 8.0 tackles were solo. He can eat up space and move on the that front. Riordan stands out even more for his work on the O-Line, which we witness when watching his junior highlight video. He physically overwhelms many of his opponents, getting them on their heels right away before putting them down. Riordan dominates in the run game and has the tools to succeed in pass-pro with more seasoning. He best fits at guard on the next level.

Wineinger chipped in 2.0 tackles, according to Central's 2024 statistics on Bound. It looks like that site might not be quite up to date when we pop on his junior highlight video. On there, Wineinger was much more disruptive than the numbers would indicate. He bursts off of the edge, has his head up and finds the ball carrier. Playing within the scheme, Wineinger often sets the edge and pounces when the play comes his way. He'll also break on the quarterback or running back when a clear lane opens up. Wineinger should keep his athleticism after filling out his projectable frame. He's certainly a prospect to watch this season.
