takes up a ton of space at 6-foot-6 and 320 pounds. Hinrichs uses his body effectively to protect Schipper’s backside, and he does a good job of plowing forward in the run game. He’ll be a good project for a Division II program, as he holds offers from Southwest Minnesota State, Upper Iowa, Sioux Falls and others. Division I Western Illinois has also shown interest, and if he speeds up his footwork and cleans up his technique, Hinrichs could be a home run of an investment for a college program in the Midwest.

Hinrichs recorded four solo tackles, including one for loss last season, but most of his contributions occurred on the offensive line, which we witness when watching his junior highlight video. On it, Hinrichs flashes current production and potential for considerably more of it in the future. He’s quick off of the snap on the left side of the Go-Hawks’ O-Line. Athleticism, active hands and sound footwork allow him to excel at tackle on this level. His power and strength would play up even more with a move inside for college. That’s not to say he can’t play tackle. Plenty of programs will see developing him there as the right path. Either way, he can help plenty of schools.
