CA 2026 Rankings Update: Risers to Know

The talented passer out of Mission Viejo has continued to put his name on the college radar this offseason picking up over ten 10 D-I offers since January including Colorado, Indiana, Stanford, and Texas Tech. He's a highly skilled passer possessing elite arm strength and footwork from the pocket. Can fit the ball into tight windows to every area of the field with the natural velocity he puts on the ball and can make plays with his legs in scramble mode. The 6'2"/215 senior out of Bishop Montgomery just narrowed down his top five to Oregon, Michigan, Georgia, Texas A&amp;M, and SMU in late May with a commitment date set for July 1. He was one of the top-ranked defenders in Nevada after his freshman season before transferring to Narbonne prior to his sophomore year. He's a versatile front-seven defender that can make rangy plays off the ball and create negative plays coming off the edge. Packs great speed and physicality as a tackler and possesses the athleticism to be high-level playmaker at the next level. He earned DL MVP at the <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2024/01/prz-stock-up-showcase-mvps/">PRZ CA Showcase</a> back in 2024 and was a recent standout at the <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2025/04/national-preps-showcase-morning-session-mvps-2/">National Preps Showcase</a> in April. He's a strong and powerful defender that packs great skill and quickness as a rusher. He earned RB MVP honors at the camp and proved to be one of the top overall athletes recording multiple 40 times in the mid-4.5 range and was among the top performers in each testing category. He's an quick, twitchy mover with high-level speed and agility to his physical skillset. Rushed for over 600 yards and 10 TDs on 90 carries as a junior. He's a skilled route-runner and high-upside vertical threat that shows savvy finesse in his front-end releases and possesses the concentration and ball skills to finish plays down the field. He's a versatile defender in the secondary that showed his ability to cover as both a nickel and perimeter CB and strong instincts in zone as a junior. He moves with good footwork and technique and did a good job of staying in-phase with WRs in the 1v1 session at January's showcase.
