Our QB1 in the 2027 class in North Dakota was one of the first quarterbacks that caught our attention at the UND Flagship Camp, whiich is [player_tooltip player_id='1544490' first='Nathan' last='Stevenson'] out of Dickinson.I could surely tell based off the eye test, that Nathan had added some frame as the now 6'1 205 pounder showed off more power with his arm strength than we got on his last eval. He showed off too that he has become more fluid and added some quickness with his release in my eyes. One of the only few 2027 QBs in North Dakota, I have gotten a live eval at camps this summer and it was a good one for Nathan.

Zeke Zuberbuhler, Darlington, WI 2027 Twitter

It's now been a couple Midwest camps this summer, that Zeke Zuberbuhler of Darlington (WI) had caught my attention in the Wisconsin 2027 class with the last live eval being in Oshkosh. This young man shows off intriguing athleticism at the quarterback position running a 40 yard dash of 4.7 and showing off his change of direction in the pro agility with back to back 4.64s. I said it in Oshkosh too, as Zeke continues to impress me with his mechanics as that was the same story I saw in Grand Forks as I was intrigued with his quick release even more this time around in the live eval as well. He throws a well-versed ball on all three levels and based off the testing numbers you can tell that this young man can get outside the pocket at making his throws. Usually during camp season, I don't get too many kids from out of my main region standing out a multiple camps, so that is surely a good sign for Zeke looking ahead to his junior season at Darlington.

Carson Dixon, Basehor-Linwood, KS 2026 Twitter

Great eyes think alike, as that was the case for both of our PRZ scouts in attendance at the first UND Flagship Camp watching Carson Dixon out of Basehor-Linwood out of Kansas in the 2026 class. I loved watching this young man's poise take shape during the live reps, as he was easily one of the most poised 2026 quarterbacks in attendance. The 6'1 185 pounder also rolled up some impressive testing numbers, going 4.65 in the 40 yard dash and 4.56 in the pro agility. Surely showed off as a persistent gunslinger that excelled on multiple levels of the field in Grand Forks as I liked how balanced Carson was with utilzing the proper arm strength for the right throw with the rep I got to watch. Super surprised that Carson only has NAIA offers up to this point, especially since he caught several eyes up at UND, as I would expect his recruitment to rise.

It seems to be almost at every college prospect camp I have attended this summer, that I catch myself watching more and more live reps from [player_tooltip player_id='1294136' first='Will' last='Brookins'] of Rosemount, as he was one of the 2027 QB MVPs from the UND Flagship Camp. Will struck a chord in the live eval with how balanced he was with all of his throws on all three levels, as I loved how well-versed his ball placement was all day long in the reps I watched live in Grand Forks. Not only was he balanced, Will also knew how to make precision his bread and butter on deep routes as he placed a handful of throws that won the rep with great timing built with his wide receivers he went up with in reps. This was not the only camp either that I have notes on Will upcoming, as this kid is certainly a 2027 camp stockriser out of Minnesota.

[player_tooltip player_id='1683410' first='Bo' last='Schwartz'], Brainerd, MN 2028 Twitter

Bo thus far during camp season is one that continues to catch muliple PRZ scouts eyes, including mine at the UND Flagship Camp as Bo has been a workhorse getting himself the early exposure at college camps and taking advantage of all the early reps he can get. On the handful of reps I watched from Bo, he has continued to excel with his ball placement, as even the intermediate throws that unfortunately were not receptions, still passed my eye test as he won those reps in my eyes with his strong timing of those reps. Going to be a big upcoming few years for the gunslinger out of Brainerd for sure in the 2028 class.

Easily my favorite running back in attendance that I was fired up about was Barnum 2026 Julian Beckstrand, as you could not miss on this kid with what I saw from the eye-test alone. He ran an explosive 4.56 in the 40-yard dash, and that speed was evident when I watched Julian during individual drills and during 1v1s as well. The verified 5'11 nearly 180 pounder, also went over 30 inches in the triple broad jump which is another example of how explosive this young man is. Prior to camp season he just broke the Barnum school record for the 100-meter dash. Julian shows off all the suddenness I wanted to see, and I am VERY surprised this young man does not have his first offer yet as the speed doesn't lie and the tape is impressive too.

[player_tooltip player_id='1226692' first='Noah' last='Brandvold'], Grand Forks Red River, ND 2026

A 2026 running back I believe I recall watching during the 11AA state championship game in December, that caught my attention in Grand Forks was Grand Forks Red River running back [player_tooltip player_id='1226692' first='Noah' last='Brandvold']. I could gauge by the early eye test that Noah gave off more rangy lateral movement and that paved true when I watched him in the pro agility in which he ran a solid 4.52. The 5'9 180 pounder, has great escapability with his sudden route-running ability that you see glimpses on tape and I felt the live eval painted a similar picture in Grand Forks. He certainly givives off what could be a senior bloomer in this North Dakota 2026 class upcoming.

[player_tooltip player_id='1113068' first='Aiden' last='Samek'], West Fargo, ND 2026 Twitter

Aiden is a running back that keeps putting up stellar testing numbers camp after I have been at this summer, as that was the same case at the first UND Flagship Camp. Aiden ran a 4.68 40-yard and ran an outstanding pro agility with a 4.20 which even though he is a great tester at camps, that is certainly not all this young man can do. He is one of North Dakota's best pass catchers out of the backfield in my eyes, and has made that known during 1v1 reps this summer with his hands and creative route running ability that it seems like every time, never gives up on his route and will fight for the ball like crazy in high traffic areas. He might be undersized, but man you can't miss on this kid's work ethic I have seen in the several camps I have seen him standout at througout the Spring and Summer.
