North Dakota’s #1 overall prospect in 2026, surely looked like we made a great choice a couple months back. The overall measurables lived up to their potential, and Hunter was by far a top-tier offensive tackle with our live evaluations. He showed off an excellent bend with his frame, and I was hopeful I would fall for the pad-level I saw on tape, in which it was spot-on and consistent. Hunter graded best in pass-protection from my eyes as his leverage was sound and I still believe there is strength to grow upcoming for Hunter. I would expect Hunter to start his blow up at camps this summer for sure. Twitter

Hunter’s persistent ability to press his defenders into the second level with balanced footwork and excellent leverage showed off early why he is our #1 overall prospect in the 2026 class. His efficency in pass-protection also flashed quickly, as Hunter shows off plenty of poise working his feet downwards as he shows off how tight he is able to get his defender inwards to lose their balance which leads him to pin them inside with his physicality at 6’6 290 pounds. The side to side twitch Hunter has with his combo-blocking is also hella effective as he shows off the instincts you certainly want at the Division I level out of your right tackle.

One of the most impressive new prospects that moved to North Dakota from Colorado recently is 2026 offensive line prospect Hunter Evans, who is heading to Williston. At 6’6 290 pounds, Hunter shows off a certified road-grader that easily with his strength and pad level maneuvers his defender constantly into the second level. You love to see the work ethic Hunter has too, as he shows off a block to the whistle type of right tackle that has no quit. He also shows off great balance while handing out combo blocks as his footwork also is very impressive for his size. No doubt in my mind that Hunter is a Division I target upcoming in the ND 2026 class. Twitter
