Enjoy!

In the month of June, we always give our rankings a fresh update and add more players to each class. We kicked off our ranking update series with the 2028 class. In case you missed it, we released the 2028 Top 50 earlier this week. These prospects just finished up their freshman seasons and there are quite a few that have already made names for themselves. In this breakdown, we're taking a look at the offensive line position. We already covered Edmond North's [player_tooltip player_id='1689505' first='Wyatt' last='Knol'] earlier this week but in this breakdown, we have five more OL in the 2028 class that are emerging as some of the top guys at the position. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Oklahoma for more 2028 prospect breakdowns and more ranking updates each week!

We could not have been more impressed with Mangum's [player_tooltip player_id='1054230' first='Aiden' last='Augustine'] when we watched him go to work last month at our showcase camp. Augustine was a 2028 prospect that we knew about after watching him around the same time last year. And he was going to be starting for Mangum as a freshman. But his overall transformation physically in the last 12 months, in addition to his overall skillset made him stand out from the rest of the group. Augustine is going to be a prospect that might be flying under the radar but he shouldn't. He's getting the size to be a next level guy and the skillset is already there. He's going to be a name to remember in the state's 2028 class for a while.

Booker T Washington offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1522526' first='Philip' last='Loadholt III'] is going into his second season as a starter for the Hornets. It's not very often that a freshman will be starting for Booker T Washington. So when it happens, we pay attention. Loadholt would crack the starting lineup at the center position. Throughout this spring and summer, he's been moving around and getting used to playing different spots along the line of scrimmage. We haven't seen him in person since last fall but based on that, he definitely projects to being more of an interior guy along the offensive line. He earned the trust of the Booker T Washington coaches last year and it sounds like he's continuing to improve at the different spots on the line.

The upside with Mustang offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1689519' first='Cooper' last='Clark'] is incredibly high. First off, Clark is going to pass the eye test from a size standpoint. He's the tallest OL prospect on this breakdown and the ceiling for him as a prospect is getting higher and higher. Out of the five prospects on this breakdown, we probably know the least about Clark but after going over some of his film and seeing the measurables, he's going to be a name to know moving forward. Mustang got several additions on the offensive side of the ball this offseason that will make them a fun unit to watch. Clark will get plenty of eyeballs on his game this fall and could take a decent leap forward as a prospect.

Similar to Clark, Bristow's [player_tooltip player_id='1689520' first='Grahm' last='Streater'] is a prospect that we're fired up to see in person, sooner rather than later. Streater is having a terrific offseason on the camp circuit and has impressed other outlets with his work at camps like Texas A&M. Streater is another "Trench Mafia" product and that JR Conrad-led group has become the best OL group in the state. If a prospect trains there, they are going to become a better football player. That, combined with the film that we've already watched and his dominance at various camps, Streater is definitely a name to watch. We're looking forward to getting our eyes on him at some point this fall and have a better overall evaluation of his game.

Edmond Santa Fe's [player_tooltip player_id='1609148' first='Paxton' last='Kysar'] is another prospect that impressed us during our camp back in May. Kysar is the younger brother of Bergin Kysar who was a standout on the defensive side of the ball. For Paxton, it looks like going to work on the offensive line is in his future, although you can't rule out defense. Kysar has really good size and is continuing to improve every time he steps on the field. We watched Kysar in person at our camp and then again a few weeks later at a team camp and it looked like he had taken another step forward as a prospect. Granted, it also helped that he had the pads on and could be as physical as he needed to be. He's an absolute bulldozer of a blocker.
