2027 Rankings Risers: Offense

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">In-depth evaluations of the 2027 offensive prospects rising up the PRZ state rankings.</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Park made the biggest jump in the most recent rankings update moving inside the top 50 overall. He's a high-impact, versatile weapon with excellent short-area quickness and top-end acceleration. Creates separation with precise route running, fluid hips, and great acceleration coming out of the break. His suddenness and ability to maintain speed when cutting makes him a mismatch in one-on-one situations, especially against LB's and Safeties in man coverage. Stretches the field vertically with his speed being able to slip by coverage but is also consistent when attacking the short/intermediate levels. He shows reliable hands and the concentration to track and adjust to the deep ball. Not afraid to work across the middle and play a ball in traffic. After the catch, he's dangerous using vision, burst, and lateral agility to extend gains. Currently holds 10 D1 offers.</p>      <p class="text-gray-700">Grohman jumped up 30 spots to #31 overall and is the fourth ranked OL prospect in the 2027 class. 6'5” 270 lbs. he's got a solid frame with good length and weight distribution to continue to add mass without sacrificing mobility. He combines size, strength, and technical consistency to generate push in the run game and maintain a clean pocket in pass protection. Moves well at his size flashing good footwork and short area quickness that allow him to climb to the second level and execute blocks in space. Technically sound, he shows disciplined hand placement and a strong understanding of leverage, consistently playing with a low pad level and wide base. He maintains balance through contact and is able to anchor down to absorb an oncoming bull rush. Like his finishing ability as a blocker, accelerates through contact with intent. Highly level athleticism and full of long-term D1 potential, Smith brings dynamic speed and explosiveness to the Williams Field offense. He fires off the line with urgency and acceleration to close space and eat up cushion forcing an early transition from his cover guy. His top-end speed makes him a true vertical threat, effortlessly separating from coverage downfield. In short areas, he shows sharp lateral movement and suddenness, allowing him to create separation with quick cuts and change of direction. He sinks his hips well at the top of routes and snaps out of breaks with burst, maintaining timing and spacing. Shows excellent ball tracking ability and body control, adjusting smoothly to off target and tight window throws. Recently won the MVP of Arizona's 7on7 tournament and currently holds six D1 offers.</p>      <p class="text-gray-700">Barjona's stock has been rising as of late with strong performances at the spring showcase and at the Arizona 7on7 tournament. 5'10” 165 lbs. the position comes very naturally to him with a dual threat skillset and a high football IQ. As a passer, he flashes smooth arm action with an over the top delivery that is quick and compact to get the ball out on time. He's able to mix up velocity and layer it over second level defenders with good ball placement skills and touch. Also able to drive a one ball into a tight window with precision. Shows great feel and awareness for oncoming pressure and secondary movement to anticipate his throws. Doesn't possess the biggest frame but is able to push the ball vertically with accuracy. Love his ability to evade the rush with his eyes downfield to create second chance throwing lanes. A plus athlete that is a threat as a ball carrier on both designed runs and broken plays. A lot to like going into this junior year with a lot of weapons around him.</p>      <p class="text-gray-700">6'3” 295 lbs. Gandy is a tough and physical presence on the OL for Cesar Chavez with the versatility and frame to play multiple spots across the line. He brings a strong combination of size, strength, and functional athleticism that allows him to be effective from the interior or at tackle depending on need. Plays with an edge, showing aggression at initial contact and through the whistle. Hand usage stands out, they are active, accurate, and violent allowing him to strike first, control defenders, and reset when necessary, Plays with good pad level and leverage at the POA consistently driving defenders off the ball and winning at the contact point. Does a good job keeping a solid base, mirroring laterally, and absorbing power with balance and anchor strength. No offers yet but physical tools and positional flexibility make him recruitable at the college level and a riser in the recent rankings update.</p>
