2026 Evaluations | Breaking Down Senior Prospect Film IV

I am back in the film room breaking down more tape from last season, and now I'm taking a look at the incoming senior class and some studs that were due for another evaluation.   Check out these 2026 prospects standing out on tape!   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />    <a href="https://x.com/Angelo_walker22" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">(@Angelo_walker22)</a>   One running back that I'm excited to see in a bigger role this fall is Creighton Prep's [player_tooltip player_id='1113969' first='Angelo' last='Walker'], who flashed as a multi-skilled offensive playmaker. Angelo served as the backup RB last season, where he still managed 238 rushing yards and five touchdowns on only 55 carries and was the team's leading receiver with 24 receptions, 296 yards, and two receiving touchdowns. Angelo projects best at RB, where he looks natural running the ball, using his vision and burst to carve out nice gains. Walker does a good job of identifying where the open lanes will be and does a great job firing through his gaps with nice explosiveness. He's twitchy and agile enough to make quick cuts in space and find ways to bounce run to the outside. Once he finds the open field, Angelo can accelerate and quickly hit that next gear to separate from the defense. Walker's versatility also allows for you to slip him into the slot where he can go in motion, run a solid route tree, perimeter block, and just be involved in some form or another. Angelo holds offers from Midland and Peru State, and this number is expected to grow with a productive season.      <a href="https://x.com/Akhil_Mehta8" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">(@Akhil_Mehta8)</a>   Although the Raiders didn't have the season they hoped for last fall, they definitely have a lot to look forward to in 2025 with a solid core of returning players. One player to keep an eye on is senior [player_tooltip player_id='1617365' first='Akhil' last='Mehta'], who will play a key role at receiver and cornerback after hauling in 27 receptions, 405 yards, four receiving touchdowns, 27 tackles, and a TFL. Akhil stood out right away with his strong hands and ability to make tough, contested catches. He does a great job tracking the ball and is very aggressive when going up to snag it. Mehta demonstrated his ability to create separation against zone and man coverage by identifying weaknesses and exploiting them by attacking leverage or finding the soft spots in the zone. Good burst and acceleration after the catch make him a threat to hit the home run ball. Defensively, I like Akhil's awareness as he is quick to close on the ball and has the range to attack from anywhere on the field.      <a href="https://x.com/TysonHeine26" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">(@TysonHeine26)</a>   The Vikings should return a good chunk of a stingy defensive front that was one of the best in Class B. One player to watch from that group is senior [player_tooltip player_id='1310640' first='Tyson' last='Heine'], who played a versatile role along the defensive line, doing most of his damage playing on the interior. Heine played defensive tackle, lining up anywhere from the 3-technique to being lined up head-on with the center or even at defensive end. Heine also flashed a quick first step, which helps him fire out of his stance and get right in a blocker's face before he has time to adjust. His strength allows him to deconstruct blocks with ease, using his violent hands to swat away at blockers. He also does a good job keeping his feet driving while engaged, making sure not to give up any ground while maintaining proper leverage and keeping his eye on the ball. Excellent motor— he never stops pursuing from snap to whistle. Big time season waiting for Waverly's [player_tooltip player_id='1310640' first='Tyson' last='Heine']... but stock now!      Lincoln North Star's [player_tooltip player_id='773255' first='Scott' last='Hoebelheinrich'] is an under-the-radar linebacker prospect with the upside to be a big riser in 2025. The senior backer ended last season with 45 tackles, seven TFLs, a sack, a fumble recovery, and a 48-yard pick-six. Right off the bat, I like Scott's size at 6'2", 180 pounds, with decent length and room to continue filling out his frame at the next level. I could see Scott playing Mike LB or outside linebacker with his ability to play downhill or flip his hips beeline it to his coverage assignment. Hoebelheinrich does a good job fitting the run and can blow up blocks at the line of scrimmage. Scott is aggressive at the point of attack, utilizing his lower body strength to drive defenders back with his tackles. Watch out for this guy this fall!      <a href="https://x.com/BlaineBellar">(@BlaineBellar)</a>   Wisner-Pilger's [player_tooltip player_id='1625838' first='Blaine' last='Bellar'] is a versatile weapon to keep tabs on this fall as he should play a key role for the Gators. Bellar ended his junior season with 49 tackles, a TFL, an interception, a fumble recovery, and a rushing touchdown while splitting time at FB, TE, DB, and LB. With Blaine's frame and athleticism, I see him projecting best at safety, where his versatility allows him to play closer to the line of scrimmage to load up the box, or you can play him deep in coverage. He does a great job reading and diagnosing plays and is very quick to break and close on the ball to limit big plays. When defending the run, I was impressed with Blaine's ability to disengage from blockers and continue his pursuit of the ball. Bellar plays with a tireless motor that keeps him in the play from snap to whistle.
