These are the guys who we already had ranked, but who did enough this spring to make a jump in the rankings. After hitting the <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2025/05/spring-stock-risers-2026-lb-report/">linebackers</a> Wednesday, I'm looking at defensive backs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Who moved up, and <em>why </em>did they make the jump? In projecting his future position, I like him best as a defensive back where his strength and athleticism shine. There are bigger names elsewhere on the Cleveland defense but it's hard to find a more steady, consistent defensive presence. Despite being injured for much of the spring, he's competed in multiple camp settings and has brought an alpha mentality. In a class lacking highly-athletic safeties, he stands out as a guy who could make a huge impact at the next level.
