Recruiting Steals: 2026 Prospects Worth a Closer Look

One of the more under-recruited prospects across the state of California, the Bonita product is one of the best at his position, and a true interior road grader that plays with violent intentions. He is very technically sound in the run game, creating immediate vertical push, has a strong base and good inside hand placement consistently. He shows he can scrape to the second level with proper angles and finish and has good body control, a strong frame and finish abilities at the first two levels. In pass protection, he stays within his frame and is a high IQ blocker when picking up stunts/twists, and stays patient with his hands without lunging and is able to anchor down if beat to recover. Currently he does not hold any offers, but should see schools come in soon.     Roth has had a very nice off-season so far, and has shown he is one of the top passers across southern California, and should have a big season for the San Diego Section power. He shows good throwing mechanics, can drive the ball downfield into tight windows and puts good zip on the ball at the first two levels both in the pocket and on the run. He is a on-schedule thrower that can process quickly and moves defenders with his eyes before delivering. On the run, he shows he can throw with accuracy without losing zip on the ball when throwing across his body and is a threat to tuck it and run if needed with plus athleticism inside and outside the pocket. He is looking to be a next level steal here down the stretch, and is in line for a huge Senior season.     Parker is one of the top two-way players across the region heading into 2025, and impacts the game in all three phases. Offensively, he is a twitchy and elusive route runner that can stretch the field, make contested catches/has high point abilities and shows he can beat man coverage with downfield separation and true third level speed. Defensively, he is a smooth operator in transition that does a good job breaking to the ball and has strong ball skills with disciplined eyes in coverage while also showing he can come up and help in run support. He currently holds one offer from Toledo but it would not be surprising if others came in and offered here soon as well.     Porter is a very good athlete that has a rare combination of size and length for the inside, and has a host of schools after him at this point in his recruitment. He is heavy handed, shows he can one or two gap if needed and had strong sudden movement abilities and natural bend in tight windows when rushing the passer. He wins with power and leverage at the POA, showing he can create immediate knock-back up front and covers ground quickly when collapsing the pocket. His combination of size, speed and agility make him a very intriguing prospect and it would not be surprising if other P4's come in and offer him late as he has a high ceiling with untapped potential.     Rollins is another dual-threat passer that can make all the throws, is very athletic out of the pocket when throwing on the run and has a quick throwing motion and arm strength when pushing the ball downfield. He throws a good tight spiral, shows he can throw his receivers open both on in-breaking and out breaking routes, and is a on schedule passer that processes quickly and shows quick feet and escape ability in the pocket. Rollins is one of the top signal callers available and is another prospect looking to be a late steal for a college program in the '26 cycle.
