The reigning PRZ VA Camp MVP will be back under our microscope ready to prove his ranking wrong, just like he did this past January in Fredericksburg. I'll say it again, Grant Jr.s current ranking hasn't been updated in some time, the more time that does pass, the worse it looks on my end. I had Grant Jr. graded out as a Low FCS/High DII passer this time last year. Grant Jr. has gone on to shatter the ceiling I placed above his head. A legitimate D1 prospect at this point in time, one who Power Four's asked me about after his first camp performance. I studied Grant Jr.s tape, I am aware how poorly he is currently represented on our site, that'll all be corrected. What I really want to know is, how long is the list of QBs ranked ahead of Grant Jr. by the time the Fall of 2025 comes around? Ten? Five? How high can this young man climb? He doesn't have much on his X account, unaware if he has a Hudl either. Even if Turnage had tape, I wouldn't turn it off so that I can watch him with a completely blank slate. What I want to know is, at this point in his football career, what can Turnage show us at this combine that can make us excited enough to share his name with local D3s? Is it natural arm talent, is it athleticism, is it accuracy, is it fundamentals? What will Turnage slash at this event? If he is a viable transfer option for a big-time program, it's likely he's got talent to show, just a matter of actually doing so. What's his recruiting ceiling?</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I think Lewis's first time out at one of our camps answered this question if I'm being honest. Another impressive showing will all but prove it to me. Walrath, [player_tooltip player_id='1298213' first='Scott' last='Lewis'], [player_tooltip player_id='1664108' first='Issa' last='Owens'], the QB room at West Springfield is a crowded one for sure. Not only is it crowded, it's talented too. Size and arm potential is there, this when projecting [player_tooltip player_id='1601625' first='Kyle' last='Lewis']' potential to lead the program in the future. I think there isn't much of a question as to whether or not this kid has what it takes. Just a matter of making it happen. Kyle, much like Scott, will likely have to be patient when it comes to recruitment buzz. I implore that for QBs this size and this talented, the snowball can grow quickly. Can Kyle show enough at this event to force my hand and sing his praises to Division I schools? A lack of seasonal tape as a freshman was the culprit, yet Van Acker now has sophomore tape to dig into, as well as a PRZ VA Combine performance under his belt after this Sunday. It's worth noting his move to Gainesville HS, he could carry serious momentum into the Fall season, looking better than ever in a new uniform. What is Van Acker's ranking ceiling? I know the talent is there, I know he can hold his own in a crowd. It's a matter of proving it with Mahmood. Can Mahmood perform among the best after the combine portion of our event? Can he wow during Indis and 1v1s?
