The Prep Redzone Combine series made their annual stop in Oklahoma and we had some outstanding competition throughout the afternoon in Jenks. Over the next few days, we'll be putting the spotlight on a ton of kids that performed well in the camp, in one way or another. From the top testers to guys who stood out in drills to much more, we have you covered. Following the camp on Sunday, we announced the MVPs for each position group. In this post, we're putting the spotlight on those seven players, breaking down what made them stand out throughout the afternoon in Jenks!

[player_tooltip player_id='1054230' first='Aiden' last='Augustine'] - 2028 Offensive Lineman - Mangum

Mangum 2028 offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1054230' first='Aiden' last='Augustine'] was one of the first prospects that stood out to us during the camp on Sunday afternoon. We've seen Augustine in person a handful of times over the last year and the jump he's made physically in the last 12 months was the thing that got most of our attention. Augustine looks like he's grown a few inches and has put on solid weight to make him an absolute problem for opposing defensive linemen. Augustine and the rest of the offensive and defensive linemen got a lot of coaching and reps on Sunday afternoon. They were going after each other and it was really cool to see just how much they were able to absorb and add to their bag of tricks. For us, Augustine would walk away with OL MVP after a really solid day. We can't stress enough how impressed we are with the jump Augustine has made in the last 12 months.

[player_tooltip player_id='589663' first='Brian' last='Jones Jr.'] - 2028 Running Back - Bixby

Every time we do a camp, we end up having a handful of players that weren't registered but sign up as walk ups and then show out. Bixby 2028 running back [player_tooltip player_id='589663' first='Brian' last='Jones Jr.'] was one of those players on Sunday. he would earn MVP honors for the running back position and while it was a competitive race, there was no question that Jones was the guy to pick. Every time we watched Jones, whether it was in drills or 1 on 1's, he was routinely putting guys on skates. Jones got his day off to a fast start, literally. He ran one of the fastest 40 times that we clocked on Sunday and then he backed that up by absolutely dominating the drills and 1 on 1's. When you take everything into account, the testing, the drills and 1 on 1's, you could make the argument that this Bixby freshman was the best overall player at the camp on Sunday. He continues to impress us every time we get a chance to see him in person.

[player_tooltip player_id='1538407' first='Denymn' last='Friday'] - 2027 Quarterback - Carl Albert

We had a couple position groups where highlighting one player as the best of the best was very difficult. But when it came down to quarterback, the edge went to Carl Albert 2027 signal caller [player_tooltip player_id='1538407' first='Denymn' last='Friday'] after the overall performance he put on Sunday. When we got a chance to watch Friday's reps in individual or in the 1 on 1 portion of camp, the first thing that stood out was the arm strength. It was off the charts good, specifically during the 1 on 1's. Now to be fair, some of those wide receivers weren't prepared for that fast ball that was coming their way. But Friday was getting the ball out and it was on a rope, every single time. He also did enough to impress the coaches that were working with the quarterback group to get the nod for quarterback MVP. Now, that was our first chance to really watch Friday in action and we're fired up to see more moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='587270' first='Jerrod' last='Williams'] - 2026 Defensive Back - Heritage Hall

Heritage Hall 2026 standout [player_tooltip player_id='587270' first='Jerrod' last='Williams'] was one of the top prospects coming into Sunday's camp and he backed up all the hype. It started with the testing portion of camp as he tested out incredibly well. Williams would then continue to back up that hype with his play during drills and 1 on 1 competitions. Whether it was on offense or defense, Williams was outstanding. Which isn't a surprise after watching him in person during the 2024 regular season. But when it came down to it, the coaches gave Williams the nod for MVP honors as a defensive back. Despite mostly playing safety last year, Williams was putting in work at cornerback. Simply put, he is incredibly natural with his covering abilities. We know he caught the attention of several colleges in attendance, one of which pulled the trigger on offering him on the spot. Williams was incredibly fun to watch on Sunday.

[player_tooltip player_id='1664120' first='Josiah' last='Chester'] - 2027 Wide Receiver - Del City

Del City 2027 wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1664120' first='Josiah' last='Chester'] was without a doubt the breakout star of our camp on Sunday afternoon. We didn't know much about Chester prior to the camp but he showed up and showed out throughout the afternoon. As we always say with these camps, we didn't get a chance to see every single rep from every single player, but we saw enough of Chester's reps to earn him MVP honors from the wide receiver position. He was able to win rep after rep and the thing that stood out the most was his ability to snatch the ball out of the air. There were a lot of "50-50" balls throughout the afternoon but when it was Chester on the other side, those numbers felt more like "75-25" or even more that he was going to come down with it. We walked away very impressed with Chester and we know that the college coaches in attendance were impressed as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='587272' first='Luke' last='DeBusk'] - 2026 Linebacker - Jones

Jones 2026 linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='587272' first='Luke' last='DeBusk'] is going to be a four-year starter for the Longhorns when they take the field this fall. Needless to say, we've seen a lot of DeBusk in person or on film but this was the first time to really watch him go to work in a camp setting. And our linebacker group was incredibly talented and had a lot of players to like on that side of the ball. But DeBusk had the most consistent day from start to finish. And the thing we liked most about his day on Sunday was just knowing how physical of a player he really is. We got to watch him move naturally but in a non-padded camp setting, linebackers can only do so much. When you combine watching what DeBusk was able to work on Sunday with knowing how much of a magnet he is for the ball carrier, there is a lot to like about this soon-to-be four-year starter at the linebacker position.

[player_tooltip player_id='1176251' first='Nicholas' last='Hill'] - 2026 Defensive Lineman - Carl Albert

As we mentioned with Augustine, the guys on the line of scrimmage got all the coaching and reps they could handle on Sunday afternoon. Carl Albert had another MVP performer in 2026 defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1176251' first='Nicholas' last='Hill'] and it was fun to watch him and Augustine go back and forth with each other all day. By the end of the camp, they were shaking hands and both of them went to absolute war against one another. That was one of the benefits of having somewhat of a smaller camp. For at least one afternoon, it was Mangum VS Carl Albert and it was a nice little rivalry. For Hill, his power moves were outstanding and he continued to add different things to his move set throughout the afternoon. Carl Albert's defense was historic in 2024. Hill will look to contribute to the 2025 version of that Titan defense, on a defensive line that was outstanding last fall.
