is one of the best overall playmakers in the state. He was hit with some adversity in 2024 and had to overcome it to get back on the field. But whether it’s as a wide receiver, defensive back or kick return, Williams can have a true impact in all three phases of the game. Offensively, Williams gives the Chargers a true playmaker that is incredibly tough to slow down. Defensively, Williams can play cornerback or play more of a “centerfield” role as a safety. And then he’s incredibly dynamic as a kick returner. No matter where Williams is on the field, you have to know where he is at all times.

was the toughest one to break down and evaluate because of his ability to be an absolute gamechanger wherever he lines up on the field. We got a chance to see Heritage Hall in person just once in 2024 and Williams was arguably the most explosive player on the field with eventual champion Lincoln Christian. Williams moved from cornerback to safety in 2024 and that allowed him the freedom to roam and use that athletic ability to play centerfield for the Heritage Hall defense. He’s also the top target in the passing game and a dangerous kick returner. Williams does a lot of things at a very high level.

has been that guy since his freshman season. Williams was a breakout cornerback during his freshman season. He had a solid sophomore year and has taken his game to new heights this season. The Chargers have moved Williams around in the secondary and he started this season as a safety where he could read the quarterback and literally cover sideline to sideline. It was safe to say that Williams was the best athlete on the defensive side of the ball and giving him the freedom to use that athleticism and playmaking ability would be beneficial. Williams has also been a standout on offense and in the return game. So no matter where Williams lines up on the field, he finds a way to have a significant impact.
