National Preps Collegiate Showcase: Top RB/TE Performers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The National Preps Collegiate Showcase was held recently at Archbishop Spalding HS (MD). It was the 16th year of the NP Showcase that consist of some of the top talent in the Mid-Atlantic region putting on a show for over 125+ college coaches from FCS/D2/D3 schools. That is some serious speed! He's well slapped together as well. While on the shorter side he is not skinny but has good muscle on his frame. Rasheed also demonstrated exceptionally quick feet and overall good footwork in his drill work. Gets them up and down fast while ale to stick his foot in the ground and make strong cuts. He is twitched up with burst/explosiveness and flippy hips. Rasheed is a RB with breakaway speed and the ability to make defenders miss in tight spaces, while also being a threat in the passing game showing soft hands on the day. He had a great day of testing running a 4.5 40 and posting a 9'6 1/4" SBJ. Bradly has excellent twitch and wiggle, able to change direction/angles quickly with no loss of speed. He has nimble feet, able to be on his toes while keeping great balance and burst out of cuts or through the hole. A weapon in the passing game as well he shows good hands and route running for a RB. Displaying electric feet and the ability to change direction and move with great burst. Orlando plays fast, can make defenders miss while also running hard and won't go down easy. He's got some power and toughness to go along with his slipperiness. A yoked up big back weighing in at 203lbs. combining power with speed/athleticism as he had a broad jumped of 9'4". He is a downhill runner with power and burst that is hard to stop once he gets going. Jules impressed me with his nimble feet during drill work and being fluid in his movements at his size. He run behind his pads and hits the hole the hard looking to take it to the end zone with every carry. Jules showed some good twitch in his hips and ability to make quick cuts. Light on his feet while also running with force. With nice size, measuring in at 6'4"+ and weighing 250lbs. he has the frame and strength to play inline TE. A smooth route runner, he stems his routes and makes crips breaks, using his twitchy hips to get defenders of balance. He's a glider when he runs, doesn't look like he's going fast but is fluid in his movements and is always able to separate and get open. Braylin also displayed great strong hands when catching passes. Snatching the ball out the air and consistently catching it away from his body. Braylin is a sneaky athletic pass catcher who is also a more than capable blocking TE. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Already holding one FCS offer from Del. Measuring in at 6'3 1/2" 232lbs and running a 4.9 forty, he checks a lot of the physical boxes for a athletic TE. He ran some great routes on the running, showcasing great hips and understanding of selling vertical - getting defenders to open up or be off balance - and then making a cut or COD to get himself open. John is a mis-match nightmare as he can easily win versus LBs and safeties. He took 1v1 reps against the DBs that day and was wining the rep easily each time, putting on a show. A versatile TE as well - John can a move TE, play as an H-back, be split or play inline. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">With soft hands, great route running and good athleticism, he will garner a lot of college attention going forward. He definitely started to do that at the Showcase as he picked up his first offer from WV Wesleyan.
