Nate’s Dakotas Film Room: Session 2

If you are looking for a route-runner in this 2027 class that has plenty of fluidity in the open field and on routes, Elias should be one you will want to look at upcoming out of Beresford. It doesn't take long to see how springy this young man shows off to be as a route-runner as one that is more durable in the open field than he gets credit for. Malachi impresses me at a high level with the timing of his cuts on his routes, showing off his change of direction and growing football IQ. He also shows off quick upfield progression as a pass-catcher which also intrigued me on tape. The 6'1 250 pounder from Fargo Davies, is one of the most athletic offensive linemen we have in this class and he moves extremely well on tape for his size and can certainly get into the second level. When I say Gus crunches defenders at the point of attack I mean it, as he shows off excellent pad-level and technique especially with his athletic movement he shows off getting downhill. He shows off some of the best vision instincts I have seen out of running backs in this class in the state. Another box that catches out for Charlie is his durability, as the 5'10 190 pounder from Thompson has gotten much more durable since I watched him a year ago while getting yards after contact. Placed 8th in the ND Track and Field Championships in the high jump and also throws the javelin in a top-tier. College coaches should be intrigued with Charlie this summer for sure at camps. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
