The Rockets hosted a team camp featuring Christian Heritage, Douglass and Heritage Hall. In this breakdown, we're putting the spotlight on Heritage Hall as the Chargers are once again a team to look out for in 2025. This is a program that has become one of the consistent contenders in Class 3A and as we start looking ahead to the 2025 season, it doesn't look like much will change. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Oklahoma for more team camp coverage!

[player_tooltip player_id='473993' first='Canon' last='Bronson'] - 2027 Tight End

We wrote about 2027 tight end [player_tooltip player_id='473993' first='Canon' last='Bronson'] a handful of times this spring and it was mostly centered around his move from quarterback to tight end. We watched Bronson during those 7v7 tournaments this offseason and couldn't wait to see what he looked like when the pads came on and he could use that strength that he's been building over the last six months. He didn't disappoint. Heritage Hall currently has a quarterback battle going but whoever wins that job is going to have the ultimate safety blanket on offense. Bronson has consistent and reliable hands and after the catch, he's a handful to deal with for defensive backs that just don't have the size to bring him down in a 1 on 1 situation. All signs are pointing to Bronson being one of the breakout '27 prospects this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='587270' first='Jerrod' last='Williams'] - 2026 Wide Receiver/Defensive Back

At the start of last season, 2026 WR/DB [player_tooltip player_id='587270' first='Jerrod' last='Williams'] had one of the more impressive two-way performances we saw in person and he did it against eventual state champ Lincoln Christian. A couple weeks ago, Williams was a star once again at our PRZ-OK camp. Then we caught him at the team camp and once again, he was making consistent plays, specifically on the offensive side of the ball. Williams is the ultimate weapon when you look at Heritage Hall this fall. He has the potential to be the team's leading receiver. A ball hawk on defense, where he's comfortable lining up at cornerback or as a safety. And he can return kicks in special teams and once again, he's an incredible threat with the football in his hands. Williams will be one of the top players to watch in Class 3A this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1683273' first='Rhett' last='Davis'] - 2026 Defensive Lineman/Linebacker

The only defensive-only prospect on this breakdown is 2026 defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1683273' first='Rhett' last='Davis'] and we have him listed here as a defensive lineman and a linebacker. Watching Davis in person on Friday, he looked like the perfect example of that "tweener" prospect where he could possibly end up at either position. But during the camp, he was doing most of his work almost exclusively as a defensive end. Davis was an absolute nightmare for opposing offensive linemen and Davis was making each guy he went up against work for everything on every play. And that's what really stood out to us about Davis on Friday, his energy level remained steady throughout the afternoon. Following the camp, Davis was acknowledged as one of the MVPs from the event.

[player_tooltip player_id='1683272' first='Terrance' last='Johnson'] - 2026 Wide Receiver

2026 wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1683272' first='Terrance' last='Johnson'] might have been one of the best deep threats that we saw at Mount St. Mary. Whether it was in the 7v7 portion of the team camp or during the scrimmage session, Johnson was consistently beating his defender off the line and making plays down the field. With Williams on one side and Johnson on the other, whoever ends up winning the QB1 job for Heritage Hall is going to have some legitimate weapons to throw the ball to this fall. Johnson has a similar build to Williams, if not having an inch or two in the height department. He was at his best when he was running those go routes, skinny posts, whatever he needed to run to beat his man off the line, getting behind the defense and ending up in the end zone.
