In our eyes, Doddridge County quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='867726' first='Brysen' last='Dixon'] is one of the state's most improved players for the 2026 class over the past three years. He's someone we've seen live many times, and the progress Dixon has made since being a young freshman is impressive. Heading into his senior year, Dixon is in a great spot to produce his best year yet and is maximizing his potential as a quarterback and prospect. We tabbed him under our Best 2026 QB Player Build for his mechanics earlier this year, and you saw it firsthand at the GC Exposure Camp. His footwork and throwing mechanics are well-developed, and he's added significant size and strength to his frame over the past three years, which has vastly improved his arm strength and overall ceiling as a prospect.

Another 2026 WV quarterback who has greatly improved since his underclassman years is Hampshire's [player_tooltip player_id='1227642' first='Landon' last='Eversole']. He produced a very good junior season for the Trojans in 2024, which placed him among the Top 15 quarterbacks in his class in our latest rankings update. The progress he made from his sophomore to junior season was very noticeable, and we expect him to make a similar jump this fall as a senior in the second year of a new system. Eversole was right in the mix for the top QB at the GC Exposure Camp on Saturday, throwing the ball well in 1-on-1s and consistently putting his receiver in a position to make a play on the ball. Eversole also has athletic upside that can be utilized in the right offensive system with dual-threat capabilities as well. He's an under-the-radar prospect right now deserving of a lot of D3 attention with a chance of some D2 looks with another strong senior season.

I was really impressed with young 2029 Urbana (MD) gunslinger Sam Armacost at Saturday's GC Expsoure Camp. He has good length for his age with a moldable frame that will be developed throughout his high school career. Armacost throws a pretty, tight spiral with touch and accuracy. He has early arm talent that allows him to hit on some of the more difficult routes with good timing as well to hit his receiver coming out of his break. Armacost can fire his pass with velocity or can take some heat off it and layer the ball over defenders to hit his target. He's a young QB prospect who will almost undoubtedly develop into a future sought-after college prospect with a lot of early potential.

Another young quarterback to know out of Maryland is 2028 Saint John's Catholic QB SJ [player_tooltip player_id='1256586' first='Wilson' last='']. He's been developed well mechanically in both his lower and upper body helping him deliver accurate balls. Added size and strength will benefit [player_tooltip player_id='1256586' first='Wilson' last='']'s overall arm strength, but he has soft touch for a young quarterback and throws a catchable ball. [player_tooltip player_id='1256586' first='Wilson' last=''] did a nice job throughout 1-on-1s hitting his receiver in stride and in their catch radius. Mentally and mechanically, [player_tooltip player_id='1256586' first='Wilson' last=''] is ready for the QB1 spot this fall as he further develops and grows physically.

Another young 2029 quarterback prospect name to keep tabs on throughout his high school career is Hedgesville's [player_tooltip player_id='1679666' first='Kevin' last='Blosser']. He's a legit 6'0 heading into his freshman year with a long frame that will benefit from time spent in the weight room and patience maturing. Blosser is expectedly raw right now, having not even played a snap of high school ball, but is already flashing potential for his age and position. His mechanics will be ironed out over the next four years, and added strength will benefit his ability to drive the ball down the field and will improve his velocity. However, Blosser did a nice job with his ball placement and timing during 1-on-1s at times, and you could see flashes of where he can go after further development at the high school level.
