I really like Penziol and the attributes he brings to the table. He strikes me as a guy who still has quite a left hidden in the tank to develop as well. He's got a good arm and smooth release. His throwing motion isn't exxagerated and he gets the ball out quickly. He keeps his shoulders square when rolling out and his eyes downfield. He's accurate and has good ball placement. I think Penziol is someone who can quietly come in and compete for a starting job down the road on Saturdays.

Ratliff has had stellar back-to-back campaigns and is a dual-threat QB who keeps defenses honest and then hits them over the top. He's efficient and his jump from year 2 to 3 was huge. Year 2 he completed 53% of his passes and year 3 that jumped up to 64%. His confidence in the offense was night and day and he knew where to go with the ball at all times. He's got a quick release and hits his guy in stride more often than not. His 3310 passing yards and 40 TDs through the air with his 975 rushing yards and 11 TDs on the ground speak volumes to his raw talent.

Goss stepped in for [player_tooltip player_id='1630653' first='Ben' last='Davis'] and was eerily efficient. He didn't turn the ball over, moved the chains, and kept the offense on the field. He's one of those guys who makes everything look simple and easy. He goes through his reads quickly, fires the ball on a line, and doesn't put it in a bad spot. He's got good ball placement and doesn't put his receivers in danger over the middle. His 63% completion was good for 1700 yards and 20 TDs through the air in his 9 games. I like his quiet demeanor on the field and how he's always ready for the next down.

Tatum had an up and down second year, but it's exactly what he needed. He got some of those bumps out of the way early in the season and played his best ball late when it mattered most. Hobart is run heavy, but they let Tatum push the ball downfield at times and it pays off. He will force the defense to watch him in the running game as well. He finished last year with 1400 passing yards and 13 TDs with 56% completion while adding just under 500 and 5 on the ground.

Prather is a phenomenal athlete who will quickly make his name known through the ranks. He's a multi-sport Varsity athlete as a freshman, and he looks good. His frame is nice, and he's not thin. You can tell he's been in the weight room for years, and he's been working. He only completed 1 pass in Varsity last year, but it's the potential and talent with Prather that is obvious and has schools excited. He's twitchy, can jump out of the gym, and looks like a stallion in the backfield at QB. I'm excited to see him step into the starter job next fall to see what he can do.
