2027 Takeover- Sophomores Coming off Impressive Seasons

These guys killed it and are set up for tons of future success, we're going to be on the lookout for them this fall!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As always, make sure to watch their tape down below! Lanier can press WRs at the LOS and has the instincts and timing to break on passes and force PBUs/INTs. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I love how Lanier gets involved against the run- he's great in pursuit and consistently flies down to the line of scrimmage to rack up TFLs. Lanier is a well-rounded defender who can make impact plays against the run and pass- it'll be exciting to watch him moving forward. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Last week, Lanier announced he picked up his first offer from Tulane! At 6'3 230, he has great size, impressive speed, and some serious power/strength he uses to bully offensive linemen up front. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I really like Wilder's skills as a pass rusher- he's quick off the snap, has a high motor, and can consistently generate pressure/place hits on QBs. He's quick on his feet, can maneuver the field, and has the leverage and strength to drive defenders back several yards.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Stephens is just as productive as a pass catcher- he is a dangerous red zone threat who uses his size, hands, and catch radius to haul in impressive catches over the tops of defenses. Whether he lines up out wide, in the backfield, or as a returner- Allen will make defenders miss and create explosive plays, it's seriously impressive to watch.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Allen can be used in a variety of different ways as a receiver. He's patient behind the line of scrimmage, follows his blockers, and can take upfield for huge gains on the ground.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I love how physical Meadows is- he has great contact balance and takes multiple defenders to bring him down.
