<h2 class="wp-block-heading">In-depth evaluations of the northern California 2027 prospects that are rising up D1 recruiting boards this spring. </h2>    Recruitment is rapidly rising for the 6'5” 205 lb. TE out of Serra. A high caliber athlete with good growth potential was flying under the radar before pulling in four new D1 offers in recent weeks from Cal, Arizona State, San Jose State, and New Mexico. Wide skillset presents a good blend of length, athleticism, and versatility to be a three down D1 TE that can both block and be a receiving threat. Flashes plus body control and catch radius with the ability to use his size to create positional leverage and box out defenders at the catch point. As a blocker, he's competitive at the POA and attacks his blocks with good balance and a wide base to sustain. Holds five total offers and still has a ton of raw potential to build on going forward.   5 Offers: Cal, Arizona State, San Jose State, New Mexico, San Diego State      Barnett is a valuable two-way player with a strong combination of size, length, and athleticism that could transition well to multiple positions at the D1 college level. 6'3” 190 lbs. he shows excellent body control, strong hands, and the ability to high-point the football, making him a consistent threat in contested catch situations. His long stride helps him create separation downfield and he runs clean/precise routes. He's especially effective on intermediate and vertical routes, where his catch radius and timing give QB's a reliable target. On defense, he can line up in the secondary or roll down into the box. His length allows him to disrupt passing lanes and engage blockers effectively, while his receiver background gives him natural ball skills and instincts in coverage. Has been a two year varsity starter and his recruitment just kicked off with offers from Sacramento State and Portland State.   2 Offers: Sacramento State, Portland State      Streeter is a force on the line for Antioch. 6'6” 307 lbs. he played the majority of snaps on the DL as a sophomore but could easily play either side at the college level. Ideal size and frame pairing that with natural strength and power at the POA. Consistently overwhelms opponents with his physicality and heavy hands. On defense, he's capable of clogging gaps and shedding blocks with ease. His size makes him a natural fit as a run stuffing interior lineman but he also flashes surprising bend and quickness off the ball for his build, allowing him to collapse the pocket or disrupt plays early. Generates immediate movement on the OL with a strong punch and drive-blocking ability that opens up lanes in the run game. He's difficult for defenders to disengage from showing he can lock on and control at the POA. Tons of physical tools and raw potential to build on. Collected offers from Sacramento State and UNLV recently.   2 Offers: Sacramento State, UNLV      Hodge's recruitment has been steadily rising since the season now holding six D1 offers most recently from San Jose State and Sacramento State. 6'5” 245 lbs. he's an excellent athlete at his size with natural movement skills and short area speed. Shows great initial quickness off the ball with the ability to accelerate and beat blockers around the edge. High level lateral agility to change directions and redirect to the ball with speed. Does a good job using his hands to separate and stack blockers to maintain leverage and keep outside contain. Brings heavy force as a tackler finishing through contact to be violent at the POA. Equally effective as a run stopper and a pass rusher. Expect him to continue to climb rankings and recruiting boards going forward.   6 Offers: Cal, San Diego State, Colorado State, Arizona State, San Jose State, Sacramento State      Rudnicki is a high caliber talent that is expected to take over the explosive Folsom offense after waiting his turn behind top prospect [player_tooltip player_id='283683' first='Ryder' last='Lyons']. 6'1” 205 lbs. he's a natural passer with smooth arm action and plus accuracy. Technically sound throwing from the pocket or on the run to either direction, he's able to hit his spots and with good velocity and zip to all three levels. Can mix up speeds to throw a catchable ball while showing good rotation in his hips and shoulders to get added velocity when needed. Calm feet in the pocket, he flashes good rhythm and balance throughout his drop back and as he works through his progression. He's on time and can anticipate throws to throw his targets open and hit them as they come out of the break. A functional athlete that can feel and escape pressure while also being able to tuck it and run and make plays with his legs.
