2026 Standouts From The X-Factor QB Camp

Saturday and Sunday had the X-Factor QB camp with Anthony Morelli, and this was the 3rd year I've been able to cover the event. It's grown so much just over the past 3 years, and the product on the field they're putting out is only getting better. Here were the 2026 QBs who caught my eye.    Sturgill left the camp as the overall camp MVP, and for good reason. What I saw was a guy who was laser-focused and was letting it rip. He has all the confidence in the world, but in a good way. He's got a solid build and just fits the position naturally. He can quickly get the ball out in screens and RPOs by dropping his arm angle when he needs to, but doesn't do it for show. He's fairly well-rounded and, from the little bit I saw, was impressed. To find out he was MVP, only backs what I thought. I think Fishers is in a good spot this fall with Sturgill leading the charge.     Rivers has developed so much throughout his high school career, and his frame has caught up. He's thick, looks good, and has a fantastic arm. He throws a tight spiral and has great velocity. He's a lefty who rolls out well and keeps his eyes downfield and shoulder square. Rivers has been one of my favorite QBs to watch develop in the 2026 class, and he's come a long way.     Cruz has been a solid QB since his freshman year and has only improved each season. He's got poise and seems never to be rushed in the pocket. His delivery is consistent, and he doesn't try to do too much. I appreciate QBs who just try to run the offense and find the open man, and that's where Cruz thrives. He plays in rhythm and always has.     Hill is a fantastic athlete and forces defenses to pay attention to his legs, but that's when he'll rip one right over their heads. He's got a quick release, throws the ball on a line, and will hit his receiver right in the middle of the chest. While he's not the biggest QB, it doesn't impact his ability to process and make the right reads.     Kledzik is fairly clean in the pocket and, of the guys at the camp, had some of the better footwork and feel in the pocket. He'll step up, avoid pressure, and keep his eyes downfield all while having steady feet and a smooth throwing motion. He throws more on a line, but can get it up and over the second level when needed. That was a drill he thrived in yesterday, and he made similar throws in live action last year.     Klee is an incredible overall athlete for his size and not only sees the field well, but his defensive experience also helps him out. We're looking at a guy who had 120 tackles and 8 TFLs last year, but is finally getting his chance to start at QB. The promise and potential are there. He's got a good arm, and his ball placement is excellent. He won the MVP award by being the last man standing in the accuracy competition. He's unknown in the QB world, but if he performs up to his potential, he'll become a name people know.
