We punch back into the Film Room, as we run thru the Roughrider State to take a look at some of the best 2026 trench monsters that are still uncommitted and unoffered yet. This is surely a list for college coaches I would have bookmarked heading into summer if I recruting OL and DL in North Dakota.

The 6'3 240 pounder out of Wahpeton was a 2026 rankings riser on our last update running into our top 25 as one of the top ranked targets we have ever had from the Huskies. Luke shows off well-set hands at the point of attack as a left tackle that has a sound settling base with his athletic stance that he brings with his his size as he seems to as an offensive linemen that relishes his focus on making sure his attention to detail is polished. Defensive line in my eyes brings higher upside for Luke, as in my eyes the frame is better setup for the next-level due to his fluidity and well-versed short area vision and motor in the trenches. Regardless college coaches are going to be able to pick their fix with this young man as far as playing at the next-level.

Already a two-time 1st Team All-State defensive linemen, I was stoked to finally get a look at look at the tape from Minot Bishop Ryan's [player_tooltip player_id='1419142' first='Cade' last='Okeson']. The wrestling background Cade has sticks out like a sore thumb very early, as the physicality and blue collar strength that Cade brings to the table as a pass-rusher show off plenty of athleticism in his 6'2 265 pound frame. There even in my eyes is upside to grow for Cade as a pass rusher as I can see he can develop getting a cleaner less foot traffic path into the backfield, even though it's clear that always wants to put his physicality to the test on the offensive linemen. College coaches ought to love the overall finesse and motor Cade plays with looking ahead at the next level as one that should surely get some attention this summer if not before.

Seth is one that has me fired up for May 10th in Aberdeen, as he will be at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Combine as one of my favorite risers I had last update in this 2026 class out of North Dakota. The 6'5 295 pounder, can accumulate his power quickly with his strength getting to the second level in what also shows off great pad-level from his first look on tape as one that also has great control with his hands. Seth has good and growing footwork as a pull-blocker which generates sound bases of fluidity when barrelling downhill. Seth wastes no time getting the defensive end down to the turf early and often and offers the finish with his takedown that assures the dominance you want in your offensive trenches. If I wanted a live eval before summer camps at Seth, I would make sure I attend our Prep Redzone Dakotas Combine coming up May 10th, cause this kid should surely have a massive summer and grades as a D1 fit in my eyes.

Braxton is an offensive linemen I have been high on for a couple years now that this summer looks like a big one upcoming for the Patriots senior to-be. The 6'3 280 pound out of Bismarck Century, Braxton in my eyes has some of the most physical hands this 2026 class has to offer as college coaches will also be intrigued by the versatility of where his hands erupt in several different sets. Braxton has also developed nicely as a drive-blocker from our first live eval from a couple of years ago, as the fluidity, sound pad-level and growing football IQ have me shocked he doesn't have his first scholarship offer yet.

If you are that college program that wants all the size and upside at your disposal, Velva-Drake-Anamoose-Garrison offensive tackle might be a great fit for you. The verified 6'5 225 pounder for the Aggies, has jumped up and developed his foot speed quickly from the last live eval I got out of him at a college camp last summer. There also has been growth with that pass-blocking I mentioned, as Matt looks much more consistent from a football IQ perspective. He shows off an offensive tackle that brings position flexibility to play either left or right tackle, and in my eyes I thought the reps looked more polished as a right tackle with his ability to get downhill into the second level and he showed to have more pressing strength in general. Matt is one that college coaches will want to know headed into summer as one that has one of the highest upsides on this film room list in the trenches.
