Between working on updating the rankings for Prep Girls Hoops Kansas and watching the Chicago Cubs thump the Dodgers 16-0, I spent some time last night scanning X.

Several posts were made by athletes sharing pictures of attending spring games and junior days.

Here is an update on one recent college commitment from the Class of 2025 and four 2026 athletes who received offers during their recent visits.

Stay tuned the next two weeks as I feature athletes from the college camps and combines I plan on attending in May and June.

[player_tooltip player_id='282254' first='Jase' last='Pavlik'], QB, 5'10”, 155, Cair Paravel, '25 (Baker)

Pavlik recently announced that he has committed to Baker University. He is a quarterback with a strong arm. I like how he throws on the run. He is a dangerous passer on designed rollouts. Pavlik is ranked No. 455 overall in the Kansas Class of 2025. He can also play defensive back, so it will be interesting to see how the Wildcats' coaching staff plans on utilizing him.

[player_tooltip player_id='780335' first='Brody' last='Litton'], DL, 6'6”, 245, Beloit, ‘26

Litton is ranked No. 27 overall in the Kansas Class of 2026. He recently visited the University of New Mexico and came away with an offer. He is a physically gifted defensive lineman who continues to get bigger and stronger. This won't be his only offer. He finished his junior season with 22 tackles and two quarterback sacks. He is an athlete that a coaching staff can take and mold into whatever position they want him to play. He has the combination of size and speed to play defensive tackle, defensive end, tight end, or offensive tackle.

[player_tooltip player_id='1536103' first='Jaylen' last='Wilson'], DL/OL, 6'3”, 250, Andover Central, ‘26

Wilson recently announced receiving an offer from Butler Community College. Wilson is a space-eater who defends well against the run game. He has multiple invites to junior day events. This is a big-time early offer by the Grizzlies' coaching staff, yet something tells me the Jaguar will get offers from four-year institutions. He would be a great local addition to the Butler roster. Wilson is ranked No. 150 overall in the Kansas Class of 2026.

[player_tooltip player_id='1585747' first='Carston' last='Simmons'], QB/DB, 6'1”, 175, Colgan, ‘26

Simmons has received an offer to play at Bethany College. He threw 18 touchdowns and rushed for 10 more during his junior season. He racked up more than 1,300 total yards of offense for the Panthers. He has a quick release and is poised in the pocket. This is an aggressive offer by the Swedes' coaching staff, and Lindsborg could be his college destination when all is said and done. However, it's hard for me to believe that Simmons won't get looked at by Pittsburg State and Coffeyville Community College. Simmons is currenlty ranked No. 172 overall in the Kansas Class of 2026.

[player_tooltip player_id='1641832' first='Jaxson' last='Chartier'], LB, 5'10”, 210, Hays, ‘26

Simmons is not the only athlete to get a recent offer from Bethany. The Swedes have also made an offer to the Hays linebacker. Chartier is coming off a junior season in which he recorded 56 tackles and six tackles for lost yardage. He is a fast linebacker who can pressure the quarterback and play in pass coverage. He also can punt. He is currenlty an unranked prospect but is all set to be added during summer updates.
