A league that doesn't get talked about enough. The Blue always seems to have a team go deep in the postseason, and we always have a handful of extremely talented college prospects. Today, I'll be quickly going over five of the biggest game-changers in this league.

A two-way Varsity starter for a Seaholm team that should show improvement next season.

Will is Seaholm's premier speed-in-space player. Being the regular 'pitch' option in the Veer offense, Will earns a ton of opportunities in open space. His tape kicks off with an explosive 30-yard run, also showing excellent vision and a stiff arm. Next, a run showing good patience 3 broken tackles.

It's obvious that Will is a talented football player, especially on the offensive side of the ball. I like Will's patience, I like the contact balance, and he has developing speed and vision.

From a recruiting standpoint, speed will be the name of the game. In my opinion, speed will be the most important aspect to improve moving forward.

Dude's a sleeping giant. Athletic, long, but still a bit raw.

Thinking back to our Prep Redzone Camp in December, Mason's talent was unquestioned. Wide catch radius, solid route runner, and a solid defender. Plus, he put up a great broad jump. Mason's tape showcases some good plays, including a couple of instinctual plays in deep coverage. From an OAA Blue standpoint, Mason is a superstar.

The difference-maker in terms of recruiting is going to be speed and change of direction. It's a little more difficult to be super twitchy at 6'4", but the reward for getting over the hump will probably be D1 offers. Amazing size, average athlete in terms of testing numbers, and a player who could take off in the next year.

Terrance is the definition of game-changer. In 2024, he was a focal point for the North Farmington offense, rushing for 1240 yards and 14TDs on 172 carries.

Watch Terrance's tape. The highlight at 0:25 (playing QB) shows an incredible fast-twitch ability. He sees open space in front of him, and takes off, finds the edge, and he's gone. That kind of acceleration and ability to outrun an entire Varsity defense is extremely rare. Without a doubt D1-level athletic ability. Earned an offer from Miami (OH) last year, and I could see more MAC teams offering. At the very least, Terrance is a GLIAC prospect.

Whenever someone earns their first D1 offer after their Junior season, I call them a "late bloomer". These kind of prospects are rare simply because most D1s heavily focus their attention on scouting incoming Juniors, not incoming seniors.

After a sensational showing at our Prep Redzone camp and Rising Stars, William has earned offers from Akron and Buffalo. A dude with ideal size, a quick getoff, and the physicality to quickly get opposing O-lineman's hands off him.

Plus, he's a game-wrecker in the OAA Blue. Heck, he'd be a handful against the best teams in the state. William should continue earning a ton of college attention this offseason, and he'll be a game-wrecker this coming season.

Speed, speed, speed. Ron'dre is a standout player in the OAA Blue very largely because of his blazing speed.

How fast is Ron'Dre? Well, he runs a sub-11s 100M and ran a verified 4.5 40-yard dash a little over a year ago. That kind of speed will get eyes on you, and I know at least one GLIAC school (Wayne State) has a close eye on him.

Ron'Dre isn't without his weaknesses. For one, he tends to struggle with change of direction, especially when playing press man. He seems to be working on this, as he's got a few recent clips on Twitter showing good COD work. As for an OAA Blue DB, he's arguably the best of the best. Absolute standout in this league.
