Midweek Recruiting Recap- Prospects Blowing Up This Week

We have so much HUGE recruiting news this week, it made no sense to wait until next Monday!   Today, we are covering some of the exciting new recruiting news across the state that you won't want to miss!   As always, be sure to check out these guys film below- we have a ton of talent that deserves more eyes here in the state.    [player_tooltip player_id='1624913' first='Alvin' last='Dinkins'] is a highly talented QB we covered earlier this offseason who has put together an exciting week with his recruitment.   Dinkins plays with a ton of confidence- he's excellent navigating the pocket, is great under pressure, and has impressive arm talent he uses to put the ball anywhere on the field. Dinkins has a strong arm and great accuracy, he can push the ball downfield, is great at leading and hitting his WRs in stride, and has excellent ball placement on some really tough-to-throw passes.   I'm most impressed with Dinkin's ability to extend plays- he is excellent at evading defenders and seeing the field while on the move. He frequently finds his way out of sacks and can deliver clutch throws when plays look dead. I   Dinkins had a big season last fall, ending his junior year with 139/219 passing attempts for 1936 yards and 11 touchdowns to only 5 interceptions, with 43 carries for 161 yards and 4 touchdowns on the ground.   Dinkins announced Tuesday that he had picked up his first offer from Jackson State!   I'm really looking forward to watching Dinkins and this Williamson team this fall- he's a talented prospect heading into a big senior year, it won't be surprising if more programs start looking his way!      [player_tooltip player_id='1634478' first='Keoni' last='Snipes'] is a highly athletic 2028 EDGE who has really caught my eye this offseason, and now has some great programs looking his way.   At 6'5 230, Snipes already has dominant size and athleticism he uses to completely wreck the line of scrimmage. Snipes explodes off the snap and plays with great leverage, quickness, and pursuit to create huge stops all over the field- it's hard to believe he's only a freshman.   Snipes has already proven to be a dominant run defender. He's terrific at setting the edge and can fight off multiple blockers to get his hands on the ball carrier and create some impressive hustle plays all over the backfield.   Snipes announced today he had picked up his very first offer from Troy! Watch out over the next few years, this is just the first of many for this young man.   Snipes is a talented prospect with a big future ahead at Saraland- it'll be exciting watching him continue to dominate and develop!     [player_tooltip player_id='1452292' first='Aaron' last='Frye'] is a highly talented QB out of Clay Chalkville who has started to see his recruitment open up this offseason.   Frye is a really talented passer who can make some seriously impressive throws all over the field. Frye has some great mechanics- he has great footwork, has a natural throwing motion, and has great timing with his WR.   In addition to his arm talent, Frye can make huge plays with his legs. He has great mobility and can easily bail out of the pocket and find rushing lanes to move the chains.   Frye put together a huge season last fall- completing 145/220 passes for 1979 yards and 12 touchdowns in the air, with 81 carries for 580 yards and 7 touchdowns on the ground.   Frye announced yesterday he had picked up his second offer, this time from Tuskegee University.   Frye, in my opinion, is one of the most slept on QBs in the state- I'm super excited to see what he ends up doing this fall, everyone should be on the lookout for him!      [player_tooltip player_id='1506566' first='Xavier' last='Edwards'] is an explosive back out of Athens who has quickly become one of my favorite RBs in the 2026 class.   Edwards is explosive out of the backfield, has terrific speed and acceleration, and can take carries upfield for huge gains within an instant. Edwards is really twitchy with the ball in his hands and does a great job of making defenders miss, he is terrific in the open field and consistently finds ways to leave defenders in the dust.   Edwards also has a reliable set of hands in the passing game and can use the same speed and twitch to make impressive plays after the catch, solidifying himself as a talented all-purpose back.   Edwards had a huge season last fall for Athens-ending his junior year with 117 carries for 977 yards and 14 touchdowns on the ground, and an additional 12 receptions for 189 yards as a receiver.    Edwards announced yesterday he had been reoffered by North Alabama! If there's anyone derserving, Edwards is- he's a talented back and deserves a lot more eyes.   Check out some of Edwards' tape below, he's a talented player with a huge senior year ahead.      [player_tooltip player_id='1604813' first='Dominic' last='White'] is a talented WR out of Minor who has had a massive offseason in terms of his recruitment.   White is a big threat on the outside for Minor's passing attack. He has great speed and acceleration he uses to completely cook opposing DBs downfield, opening up massive opportunities for his team's passing attack. White is just as productive underneath and off of screen passes- he's a quick route runner who can beat you at multiple levels of the field and after the catch.   White is really talented with the ball in his hands- he can make defenders miss, step out of tackles, and provide a ton of explosive plays at the WR position.   White made plays all over the field last fall- ending his season with 31 carries for 224 yards and 4 touchdowns, 24 receptions for 373 yards and 6 touchdowns, and 2 kickoff returns for touchdowns on the season.    White just announced he has committed to South Alabama, giving them a super talented addition to their WR room.   South Alabama is getting a dominant WR and a great kid in [player_tooltip player_id='1604813' first='Dominic' last='White']- I can't wait to see what he and Minor do this fall, be sure to watch out for him!
