About Dominic
Expert Analysis
Josh White | Prep Redzone Scout
Even in a tough loss, White’s talent popped off the screen. He brings a playmaker’s mentality after the catch, running with vision, balance, and toughness that mirrors a running back in the open field. His vertical releases keep DBs on edge, while his ability to slip tackles and tightrope the sideline make him a YAC nightmare. With 175 yards and a score in Week 5 — pushing his average to over 100 yards per game — White is quickly separating himself as a reliable offensive weapon.

(WR), a South Alabama commit, has been off to a hot start this season.
“White is a big threat for Minor’s passing attack. He has great speed and acceleration he uses to completely cook opposing DBs downfield, opening up massive opportunities for his team’s passing attack. White is just as productive underneath and off of screen passes- he’s a quick route runner who can beat you at multiple levels of the field and after the catch.
White is really talented with the ball in his hands- he can make defenders miss, step out of tackles, and provide a ton of explosive plays at the WR position.“
Woodlawn will have to stop White from creating explosives. He’s been terrific at producing them season, just take a look at how he played against Paul W. Byrant:

has solid measurables at 6’1 180 and immediately caught my attention on tape. He is a verified track athlete who is a burner, consistently out-angling defenders to the sidelines and running away from defenses. He is fast, but I think he could add even more speed with subtle tweaks in his sprint mechanics. He finds his top speed in a hurry and runs hard in space, generating weak tackling attempts and fly-bys from defenders. He has good vision in the open field, attacking leverage and pinpointing open running lanes. He even takes some direct snaps in the wildcat. White holds FBS offers and I think he still has another level he can reach.

I’ve been a huge fan of Dominic White since watching his film earlier this offseason, he’s an explosive threat with the ball in his hands and can make all sorts of plays around the field. At the You Are Athlete camp this past Saturday, he did exactly that- consistently finding ways to dominate in drills, and ultimately was picked as one of the top performers at WR on the day. White has some serious speed and acceleration he uses to torch DBs downfield and is incredibly explosive with the ball in his hands. He frequently breaks off massive plays off of screen passes, shorter routes, and carries out of the backfield- it’s easy for defenses to lose track of him, he can beat them in so many different ways and has the athleticism to completely flip the field every down. White was incredibly productive for Minor last season in a lot of different ways- ending his season with 31 carries for 224 yards and 4 touchdowns, 24 receptions for 373 yards and 6 touchdowns, and 2 kickoff returns for touchdowns. Be sure to watch out for White going forward- he’s been having a great offseason, listing offers from WKU, Jacksonville State, Alabama State, and more. Do yourself a favor and take a look at his film below- he’s set up for a huge year this fall.

Dominic White was super productive last season for Minor in a lot of different ways, but especially as a dynamic wide receiver. White is a huge threat downfield- he has unreal speed and acceleration that let him completely cook opposing DBs, opening up massive opportunities deep downfield. White is not just a deep threat though- he’s explosive however you get the ball to him- frequently taking screen passes and short routes to the house with how good he is after the catch. White is a really talented athlete who can make defenders miss, shed off tacklers, and provide a ton of explosive play at the WR position- he’s going to be a problem for years to come. White made plays all over the field last fall- ending his season with 31 carries for 224 yards and 4 touchdowns, 24 receptions for 373 yards and 6 touchdowns, and 2 kickoff returns for touchdowns on the season. Be sure to watch White- he’s put together some great tape and just picked up offers from UAB and North Alabama!
