Corbin Redhounds (Ky.) Reloading With Deep 2029 Class

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The KYMSFA Division 2 State Championship in 2024 marked the 9th in school history for the Corbin program. With talent oozing at every position, this 2029 class is destined to continue the domination to the high school level. Speaking of, the Varisty Redhounds have only lost more than two games <strong>once</strong> since 2015. They don't rebuild, they simply reload. A two-way player at Wide Receiver/Defensive Back that had a sizable impact on Corbin's championship season. Watching him play, I like him in defensive secondary a bit more at this point--specifically as a Safety. He looks the part of a future standout--specifically at Running Back. Has a nice build and explodes through the hole with power, before opening it up in open field. Also has a commanding presence on the basketball court. While I don't have specifics on size, he has a nice frame to work with for an incoming freshman. Lining up at Wide Receiver, Running Back and Defensive Back, the ATH (athlete) distinction works here. At 6-foot and 183-pounds, he has a Varsity-ready body right now. He's one big muscle and played with power and speed all year. Offensively he played as a Running Back/Fullback type, but his play at Linebacker is what stood out to me the most. At 6-foot and 250-pounds, Jones made the ideal Offensive Guard to run behind with his ability to overwhelm and maul the opposing Defensive Linemen on to the ground. My biggest takeaway from House was that he never stopped moving or working to win each collision at the line of scrimmage. He's a bit of a tweener right now and needs to develop physically, but you can't teach size. However, at a legitimate 6-foot-2 and 200-pounds with a muscular build--he can write his ticket athletically. Showed some great quickness and continued work will continue to propel him. He was selected for the KYMSFA All-Star Classic this past season.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>[player_tooltip player_id='1664967' first='Luke' last='Trett'] | Linebacker/Running Back - Trett is a prospect that I think has more in him, than he has squeezed out thus far. He passed the eye-test right away when I saw him at the KYMSFA Battle of the Regions in March 2025. He's coming off an injury, but I think there's more for him to offer--primarily as a Linebacker.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list -->
