Throughout the camp, he showcased very good touch on his throws and very good ball placement skills. One thing of note was his deep ball, where he consistently connected with wide receivers due to throwing it in stride with the receiver. Gallegos has good throw power, and good timing with his throws. Very good release. He's only a sophomore with tons more room to grow, and I'm excited to see how he continues his development!

Espinoza has previously been at our camps before. I've seen the growth between the two camps. Espinoza's cool calm demeanor was on display throughout the event. Espinoza showed how coachable he was during the event. Being attentive and taking in what his positional coach was saying. He has very good touch on his throws. Makes it easy for the receiver to catch. Colter also has very good ball placement skills. He'd throw in stride with his receiver for the easy catch. Espinoza used his very good throw power to consistently produce in the 7 v 7 drills. Another great camp performance by the Ponderosa QB!

Unruh had a good performance at the combine! The young Valor QB showcased his very good arm talent, and was launching it all over the place. During the footwork drills, he demonstrated good footwork and fluid hips to move around. Once the receivers joined the QBs, Unruh demonstrated very good anticipation and timing on his throws. Bentley paired his good release with very good medium and deep accuracy to consistently his wide receivers on the money. Keep an eye out for this young QB for Valor.

I've spoken about Herrera before, and his performance was no different than the tape. Caeden has very good throw power, and that was on display throughout the event. He launched the ball with ease and made it look effortless. In the 7 v 7 drills, Herrera showed his very good ball placement skills. He'd place the ball in stride, or throw it right above the WR & DB, allowing the WR to make the play on the ball. In the footwork drills, he showcases his fluid snappy hips. If he messed up on a play, he came back the next and dominated it. Pueblo South has a good one on their hands.

Parsons is the prototypical size for QB at 6'5 202 pounds. One thing that really stood out to me about this event was how Parsons took the coaching and implemented it into his game during the drills. He has a very quick release, and a high arch on his throws allowing the WR to come underneath and catch it. Parsons throws a beautiful spiral as well. He shined during the 7 v 7 drills. He showed good anticipation and timing with his throws. He wasn't forcing the ball where the defender was. He has very good arm strength, and made all the throws needed at the combine. Keep an eye out for Parsons this season.

A little QB competition is brewing up at Valor and with good reason too! Another prototypical size for QB at 6'4 189 – pounds, Smyth showcased good poise and production throughout the event. He has a very good release and very good throw power. During the drills, he showcased very good footwork and fluid hips. When the WRs hit the field, he shined. Showing his very good deep ball accuracy and very good ball placement skills. He was able to fit the ball in tight windows to his receiver. Again, keep an eye on Smyth as him and Unruh continue competing at QB for Valor.
