<h2 class="wp-block-heading">In-depth evaluations of the 2026 prospects that are rising up D1 recruiting boards.</h2>    Brock's recruitment has been consistently on the rise pulling in recent offers from Northwestern, Washington State, and Air Force bringing his total count to nine. 6'3” 175 lbs. he possesses a long lean frame with the ability to add mass without sacrificing key traits including his top end speed and lateral agility. He's a plus route runner that is sudden with his cuts and can drop his hip level to change directions on his breaks. He accelerates hard off the ball to close DB's cushion and times out his moves well to set up his routes and create separation. Outstanding catch radius, he uses his length to his advantage to extend and play the ball outside his framework. Does a great job playing the ball at the catch point, can fight through contact and create leverage to make receptions in tight spaces. Great all around skillset to be an impact player at the P4 level.   9 Offers: Air Force, Washington State, Northwestern, Colorado State, San Diego State, UNLV, Iowa State, Arizona, Central Michigan      Burnstein was listed as one of PRZ's top under the radar prospects last summer but his recruiting has taken off since pulling in six D1 offers. Excellent skillset for a DE prospect that blends his size, length, and athleticism to be a disruptive playmaker working off the edge. 6'4” 235 lbs. he's got an explosive first step showing good natural bend and initial quickness from the snap to engagement. He plays with a relentless motor and demonstrates excellent hand usage, shedding blocks effectively and maintaining good gap discipline. Against the run, he's capable of containing the edge with good lateral movement and pursuit speed. He's able to collapse the pocket as a pass rusher with a good mix of speed and power moves to get to the QB. Expect for more offers to come in as the cycle progresses.   6 Offers: Nevada, North Dakota, New Mexico, Montana, Northern Arizona, Arizona State      Garday is a highly instinctive linebacker with an exceptionally fast trigger breaking on the football. He's patient with his read steps and as he diagnoses run/pass to limit wasted movement but reacts with urgency and speed. His short area burst closes space before the play can develop allowing him to shoot gaps, beat blockers to the spot, and disrupt flow. High football IQ and good leadership traits to get the defense set and make instinctive decisions. Highly aggressive in pursuit and attacks ball carriers by accelerating through contact violently. Makes a ton of plays at or behind the LOS finishing the 2024 season with 11.5 TFL, seven sacks, and 78 total tackles for the Open Division state champions. Holds three D1 offers.   3 Offers: New Mexico State, Montana, Army      McDonough is a pure football player that can impact the game playing a variety of positions. Excels in the secondary using his natural coverage instincts and anticipation. Plays bigger than his 5'10” 180 lb. frame being a physical defender in both coverage and as a tackler. Flashes high level route recognition skills to stay attached to the hip and be in phase to all three levels of the field. Can transition out of his backpedal to run vertically and use his lateral agility to match movement on short/intermediate routes. Always in the right place at the right time to make game breaking plays. Great technique and footwork throughout his pedal, transition, and break. Will be a four year starter at Desert Mountain and has picked up four D1 offers since March.   4 Offers: Cornell, Navy, Georgetown, Army      Garcia has seen his recruitment on the rise recently with his first two offers coming in from Air Force and Army. 6'1” 190 lbs. he's a quality safety prospect with excellent range, feel, and awareness. Makes quick decisive reads and shows good eye discipline to anticipate and position himself to make plays. Plus closing speed, whether he's coming downhill in run support or breaking on a ball in the air. A strong and reliable tackler in space showing he can break down and wrap up. Takes great angles to the football allowing him to close space as both a tackler and in coverage. Patient and calculated with his movement to limit wasted steps. High upside prospect that has the ability to keep stacking D1 offers.   2 Offers: Air Force, Army
