2026 EDGE: Western PA Rushers

Today's article is highlight 5 EDGE rushers in the western PA area. We have guys who are big power rushers, guys who are quick athletic speed rushers, and stout rushers who play with all they have. In the pass game, he's simply more athletic than most of the offensive tackles he goes against. He primarily uses speed to get around the edge, but he has a nice touch of power. When he is purely power rushing, you can catch him running through tackles face or throwing a hump move. While he is likely a 4-3 defensive end, he has the versatility to be a 3-4 OLB at the next level. Blatt is a clear Power 4 contributor at EDGE. He splits double teams using his length and power. When he's rushing the passer, he's strong and has good contact balance after the initial punch of tackles. His size allows him to line up in the 4i all the way out to the 9T. He's a good athlete with good power. Shanafelt is a well-rounded rusher who has a high floor and a solid athletic ceiling.     [player_tooltip player_id='529124' first='Dylan' last='Rogers'] is a quick and agile DE. When I watch Rogers, I see a clear FCS to G5 OLB. Rogers is a stout run defender and holds his own despite not being the longest. He makes up for the smaller stature by playing tough and hard. He plays with a filled-out frame and plays strongly. Rogers will be a force to cap off his senior season in 2025.     [player_tooltip player_id='402467' first='TJ' last='Sabatucci'] is a gritty and high-effort pass rusher. Sabatucci has adequate size and an awesome speed-power pass rush blueprint. When he's lined up in a 5T he runs through you, when he's lined up in a 7T he runs through you, when he's lined up in a 9T he runs through you. It's a common theme that he wants to mess up opposing offensive linemen. Sabatucci is going to be a great addition to the Buffalo defense. When he's rushing, he is usually the first off the ball and the fastest to the QB. Charles has clear usage ability as a 3-4 OLB at the next level.
