is a matchup nightmare for offenses as he plays both as an edge defender and as a linebacker. At both positions, he has great size (6’2″) and athleticism. His ability to chase plays from both positions is excellent. As an edge defender, he is excellent at setting the edge and making the play or forcing the ball inside. He is also good at getting off blocks and then chasing plays. Then, as an off-ball linebacker, he reads and reacts to the plays and then does a good job making plays all over the field. Rogers should have a good chance at playing college football in the future, he is that talented of a player.

is a quick and agile DE. When I watch Rogers, I see a clear FCS to G5 OLB. Rogers is a stout run defender and holds his own despite not being the longest. He makes up for the smaller stature by playing tough and hard. He plays with a filled-out frame and plays strongly. Rogers will be a force to cap off his senior season in 2025.

is an outstanding athlete who played as an edge defender and as a linebacker last year for Montour. As an edge defender, he gets off the ball quickly. His ability to fire off the ball and make plays against the offense is excellent. He constantly makes plays against the opposing offenses, stopping the run and the pass. Then, as a linebacker, he does a good job of reading and reacting to the play and attacking downhill to make plays. Rogers is an intriguing prospect who has immense talent.

“Dylan Rodgers is a good athlete who plays linebacker for Montour. Rogers does an outstanding job of running sideline-to-sideline to make plays all over the field. He is also a good tackler in the open field. He also does a nice job of reading his keys and making tackles inside the tackle box. Rogers shows a ton of athleticism and speed at linebacker. He will get even better next season, returning as a starter.
