Composed against the DBs, RJ showed patience in allowing the receiver to run his route and displayed strong decision-making to prevent any contested throws.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>RJ's size and football IQ translate well to the defensive side of the ball, as he lined up in 2024 as a ball-hawking safety. As a quarterback himself, he has a natural understanding of what the offense is showing him, allowing him to anticipate throws and jump routes to take the ball the other way. With RJ's physicality and quick reactions, he covers a lot of ground quickly and delivers swift, hard-hitting tackles.
