He moves well for his size and can hold his own in pass protection, using his length to keep defenders at a distance. He's a smooth operator up front, consistently opening lanes and controlling defenders with technique and physicality. He's able to open big lanes with ease and does a good job getting off the block when he needs to. He's off the ball so quickly he wins that initial block with ease. He's good on the move and fairly nimble so he can get into the second level. I do think there's room for growth with his hand placement at times, but that's just me being nitpicky as of now. He's quick off the ball and does a good job getting into position. He rarely makes mistakes, doesn't rack up penalties, and keeps the offense moving. He's the kind of guy you can trust to get the job done every snap which is exactly why he was given the All-State nod this season. Guys like Mellor keep football going around and I hope he gets the opportunity he deserves.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
