We talk a lot on Northwest athletes who have earned D1 offers, all-state honors etc.. There are numerous other individuals worthy of being mentioned who are ranked among the best in Oregon. Have a look at those players and what they bring to the table.

[player_tooltip player_id='1585693' first='Jack' last='Tuenge'] 6-3 215 26' LB Jesuit - Tuenge will make a big jump up the PRZ rankings board when updated, adding an offer from Utah St a few months back. He was an all-Metro athlete that went somewhat under the radar, recently being named a 3* by 247.

[player_tooltip player_id='1110920' first='Parker' last='Sellner'] 6-1 190 26' DB Newberg- Expect Sellner to be a POY favorite in the Pacific Conference this coming season. He's an outstanding overall athlete who plays QB, going for 2000+ total yards and 20 passing/rushing TDs last year.

[player_tooltip player_id='402419' first='Owen' last='Hagerman'] 6-3 180 26' QB Tualatin- The T Wolves have been loaded at QB spot the last few years with Hagerman waiting his turn. The baseball standout has looked good on the 7v7 circuit, and he will have numerous top targets to throw to, for what should be a top 5 program at the 6A level once again.

[player_tooltip player_id='1585714' first='Jackson' last='Skinner'] 6-2 190 26' OLB Marist- Another kid who could make a significant jump up the rankings board when updated. Skinner racked up 4A 1st team all-state honors at LB, finishing with 51 tackles and 11.5 sacks, while helping his team to the state title.

[player_tooltip player_id='1569373' first='Jakai' last='Phillips'] 5-10 170 26' RB North Salem- The Vikings went 1-8 last year making it tough for a kid like Phillips to get some deserving recognition. He was impressive all season going for close to 1000 yards (956) and 7 total TDs, garnering 2nd team all-league accolades.

[player_tooltip player_id='1585698' first='Justin' last='Larsen'] 6-2 170 26' ATH Clackamas- One of the biggest sleepers in the state of Oregon. Larsen earned 1st team all Mt Hood honors at WR, bringing impressive overall athleticism to the table as a 3-sport athlete.

[player_tooltip player_id='284121' first='Spencer' last='York'] 5-11 175 26' QB Beaverton- The Beavers are 5-21 over the last three seasons, so it can be tough to gain some of the necessary notoriety. You have to feel good if you are BHS with York back, after he hit on 65% of his passes for 2200+ yards and 18 TDs. He's one of the top running QBs in the state as well, averaging 7.7 yards per carry.

[player_tooltip player_id='513128' first='Sam' last='Ribner'] 6-3 190 26' QB Cleveland- Ribner earned all-league honors even with Cleveland going 1-8 on the year. The 6-3 transfer from Central Catholic had a nice season, passing for 1200+ yards and 12 TDs in 6 games.

[player_tooltip player_id='1569401' first='Ethan' last='Hein'] 6-0 160 26' ATH Newberg- One of the best players in the Pacific Conference. I have the Tigers beating Sherwood this coming season for the league title, because of athletes like Hein. He earned 1st team all-Pacific honors on both sides of the ball as a junior.

[player_tooltip player_id='1112422' first='Roman' last='Kealoha'] 5-11 195 26' RB Wilsonville- The 2x state champs graduate a ton of talent but always re-load. Kealoha is noteworthy going for 1000+ rushing/receiving yards and 9 TDs last year. He will play a huge role and could be in the 5A POY conversation as a senior.

[player_tooltip player_id='1585711' first='Logan' last='Large'] 6-0 160 26' WR/S Lebanon- One of the more underrated players in Oregon. Large should be considered one of the best at the 5A level, earning 1st team WR and 2nd team all-conference DB honors. Him and QB [player_tooltip player_id='402397' first='Brison' last='Edwards'] are one of the top 1-2 punches around.

[player_tooltip player_id='1569377' first='Walter' last='Dahme'] 6-0 230 26' C Sherwood- Dahme was one of the few players at the 6A level to earn 1st team all-league honors on both sides of the ball. He won't project to a high level collegiately because of size, but from a pure talent standpoint he's one of the best in Oregon on the line.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560662' first='Rocco' last='De La Rosa'] 6-1 180 26' ATH Philomath- We've talked about De La Rosa before being one of the best in Oregon at the 4A level. He had 1000+ all-purpose yards and 15 TDs with 4 INTs on D. One of the most impressive state lines in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='1345259' first='Wesley' last='Boyd'] 5-10 200 26' LB South Medford- The undersized LB is a tough kid. He will be one of the best defenders in the South/Central Conference, making 68 tackles and earning honorable mention all-league accolades last season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1067208' first='Leo' last='Wylam'] 5-9 155 26' Slot Sprague- Wylam has had a breakout offseason as part of Team Alpha on the 7v7 circuit. He's not the biggest kid, making what he's done that much more impressive. Look for him to excel as part of the Oly's.

[player_tooltip player_id='1341320' first='Isaac' last='Bean'] 6-1 215 26' LB Sherwood- The Bowmen will need Bean and fellow LB [player_tooltip player_id='1569375' first='Talen' last='Gorretta'] to be dominant this coming season. He was a 2nd team all-conference selection with Gorretta being 1st. Sherwood is one of the top football communities in the state, but there are question marks on this upcoming year with the graduation of so much talent.
