It's unique to have a D1 trifecta like this leading a team in the NW. We will essentially be able to watch all of them every Saturday for the next ½ decade. LO beat a good Tualatin team 49-24 on Friday behind Bell's 17 carries for 248 yards and 4 TDs. Vyhlidal returned after missing the last 1.5 games and scored 2 TD's, while catching 5 balls for 80 yards. The always consistent Kurland hit on 8/12 passes for 198 yards and a touchdown.

[player_tooltip player_id='1601596' first='Ashton' last='Randall'] 28' RB/LB Estacada

Randall is one of the best players in Oregon's 2028 class and showed what he could do offensively scoring all 3 of the Rangers TD's, in the 24-14 win over a good and previously unbeaten Stayton team.

[player_tooltip player_id='1609595' first='Iden' last='Rule'] 28' RB Tualatin

Probably the fastest rising prospect in the NW for the 2028 class. Rule stepped up like a boss against the state's #1 ranked team, totaling close to 200 yards (23-96 rushing, 2-84 receiving) and 2 TD's, in the 49-24 loss. The #4 T Wolves have maybe the best underclass duo of backs in the region with Rule and [player_tooltip player_id='937241' first='Cole' last='Hachmeister'] who has been injured.

[player_tooltip player_id='402415' first='Killian' last='Sombe'] 26' RB/ [player_tooltip player_id='402427' first='Tyson' last='Davis'] 26' RB/ [player_tooltip player_id='1585700' first='Cole' last='Thomas'] 26' Safety Central Catholic

Speaking of top RB duo's, it doesn't get much better than Sombe and Davis. The pair combined for 4 TDs in the 42-7 win over Clackamas. Thomas continued his tear on the defensive side of the ball adding another INT.

[player_tooltip player_id='1940671' first='Jay' last='Buell Jr.'] 27' ATH Roosevelt

The Roughriders got a big win over Lincoln 18-14 in a game that might end up deciding the PIL title. Buell Jr continued to look like one of the top two-way athletes in the conference, going for 140 yards and 2 TDs on the ground, with 2 fumble recoveries on D.

[player_tooltip player_id='402397' first='Brison' last='Edwards'] 26' QB Lebanon

Edwards is having one of the best years of any player at the 5A level. He went off on Friday totaling 462 yards (287 passing, 175 rushing) and 6 TDs in the 54-35 win over Bend.

[player_tooltip player_id='769925' first='Oliver' last='Luebkert'] 26' WR Beaverton

Eastern Washington has to be incredibly stoked and nervous at the same time with Luebkert playing as well as anyone statewide. He went for another 163 yards receiving and 3 TDs on 11 catches in the 40-14 win over Southridge. Other universities will be paying close attention in the coming weeks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1232699' first='Cade' last='Mitchell'] 26' QB/ [player_tooltip player_id='1566148' first='Sean' last='Gerigk'] 26' WR Mountainside

This duo seems consistent every week. I'm sure New Mexico realizes that others will be vying for Mitchell's services before signing day. The 1st team all-state projected QB hit on 75% of his passes for another 5 TDs/0 INTs and 312 total yards, in the team's impressive 56-20 win over Sunset. Gerigk continues to destroy DB's catching 5 balls for 160 total yards and 3 TD's (1 called back).

[player_tooltip player_id='1891259' first='Isaac' last='Tindall'] 26' RB / [player_tooltip player_id='1940673' first='Gabe' last='Flynn'] 27' LB Sprague

Tindall could very well be the Oregon breakout player of the year. Almost every week he ends up on this list with the Oly's continuing to play well. In the 34-21 win over South Salem he went for 230 yards and 3 TDs, with Flynn stepping up on D and finishing with 3 sacks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1939258' first='Max' last='Shepherd'] 26' RB/K Summit

The standout kicker once again showed off his versatility rushing for 118 yards and 3 TDs in the 35-14 win over previously unbeaten Ridgeview. As of right now the Storm are a state title favorite.

[player_tooltip player_id='845242' first='Sean' last='Bour-Nelson'] 27' DB/ATH Lakeridge

Bour-Nelson had a big night, finishing with 15 tackles and 3 PBU's to go with 5 catches for 54 yards and a score offensively, in the 62-20 win over Oregon City.

[player_tooltip player_id='1940672' first='Micaiah' last='Turin'] 27' QB Sandy

Not a lot of people know about Turin, but the junior QB can play. Sandy has one of their better squads in school history and he is a big reason why. He passed for 205 yards and 3 TDs in the 35-21 win over Reynolds, in a game where they racked up 231 rushing yards as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1593709' first='Kellen' last='Kuenzi'] 27' CB Silverton

I'm not sure how many Kuenzi's reside in Silverton, but they are all good at football. The Junior CB helped the Foxes shutout #6 West Albany 29-0 with the young standout finishing with an INT, fumble recovery, and a blocked punt.

[player_tooltip player_id='1609774' first='Bentlee' last='Davenport'] 28' CB Thurston

Not the biggest kid but definitely one of the best in Oregon's 2028 class. Davenport added another TD catch and an 80-yard INT return to the house, in helping the Colts beat crosstown rival Springfield 38-7.

[player_tooltip player_id='819697' first='Alex' last='Adams'] 26' QB Valley Catholic

Michael Snyder's Valiants continue to overachieve. Even in the double OT 21-20 loss, Valley's quarterback Adams did well, passing for 352 yards and 3 TDs. If they can win the next two games, they will be 5-2 with a shot at the playoffs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1569373' first='Jakai' last='Phillips'] 26' RB North Salem

One of the best players in Oregon this season. Historically speaking the Vikings 21-14 win at Sheldon is unprecedented. Phillips rushed 18 times for 136 yards and 2 TDs (1 called back).

[player_tooltip player_id='759688' first='Lukas' last='Babbitt'] 26' RB/LB Churchill/ [player_tooltip player_id='1924242' first='Terrius' last='Allen'] 26' RB Crater

It's rare that a kid runs for 268 yards and 3 TDs and his team loses but that was the case here, with Crater getting the 37-36 win over Churchill. Babbitt is closing in on 1000 yards with 13 TDs halfway through season and could be the POY on both sides of the ball within the conference. Allen was somewhat of an unknown coming into the season but has proven himself, rushing for 295 yards and 2 touchdowns on the night.

[player_tooltip player_id='402395' first='Braxton' last='Singleton'] 26' ATH North Salem

All Mid Major D1 Universities should be all over this kid right now. The 6-3 standout made 7 tackles, with 3 TFL's, and the game sealing INT, in the teams 21-14 win at Sheldon.

[player_tooltip player_id='1940682' first='Robert' last='Jeter'] 26' DB Grant

It's been a tough year to say the least for the Grant. They got things turned around against Jeff in the 34-0 win, with Jeter grabbing 3 INTs and helping the D pitch a shutout.
