<p>Millard South 2026 RB <strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id='402160' first='Nelsyn' last='Wheeler']</em></strong> became the third player in the 2026 class to announce their commitment and second to commit to Northern Illinois. Nelsyn is a RB with legit track speed who rushed for 1,032 and seven touchdowns during his junior season with the Islanders. Since his commitment, Wheeler has also received offers from Air Force and Miami (OH).</p>

<p>Omaha Central 5-star DB/ATH <strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id='422820' first='Tory' last='Pittman III'] </em></strong>picked up a big SEC offer from LSU. The rangy safety recorded 54 tackles, a TFL, and three interceptions with 26 receptions for 458 yards and five touchdowns on offense. Pittman holds 10 offers with schools like Miami, Nebraska, Tennessee, and others in the fold.</p>

The 6'6", 225-pound pass catcher hauled in 36 receptions for 593 yards and nine receiving touchdowns. </p>

Thomalla completed 69% of his passes (250/359) for 3,664 yards, 47 touchdowns, and a 138.7 QBR as a junior.</p>

<p>Omaha North's 3-star DB <strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id='488174' first='Darion' last='Jones']</em></strong> continues his rapid-rise with a trio of FBS offers from Minnesota, Washington State, and Fresno State. The Viking's prospect also has offers from Colorado State, Iowa State, New Mexico, Dartmouth, and South Dakota State. Jones got it done in all three phases of the game last season with 781 receiving yards, 466 return yards, 47 tackles, eight interceptions, 3.5 TFLs, a sack, a forced fumble, 11 receiving touchdowns, two punt returns for touchdowns, two kickoff returns for touchdowns, and an intereption return for a touchdown.</p>
