In contention for MVP of the whole weekend, Lavar made play after play for Team Octane. Showing of his burst and wiggle, Lavar has great start-stop ability in tight spaces. Able to decelerate and create space for himself before getting back up to top speed to run past defenses. He was making the opposition look silly trying to get a hand on him during the weekend. He played multiple spots on D and was affecting the play no matter where he lined up. Using his size &amp; length to disrupt and break up passes. Saw him make a great break on the ball in one game, diving for the INT help his team get up big. An imposing player, he was key to Octane's defensive success all tournament. With great size and length, Joshua is a great X to pair with the other versatile slot WRs on the squad. Able to go up get the ball, Joshua moss'ed defenders a few times for TD grabs. An over the top threat that was extremely valuable for the teams success, Joshua balled out! Able to play pretty much everyone on the field, lining up at LB, CB, S. He used his elite length to get his hands on a lot of passes for PBUs. I swear every time they needed a key first down or a play to get them going, it was Kobe getting open and making the play. Showing strong hands the ability to find space &amp; separation, he was always open and the safety valve for QB [player_tooltip player_id='1353100' first='Jayden' last='Ford']. A playmaker after the catch, Kobe can make the first guy miss and get good YAC. Looking every bit the part, yoked up with great length for his height. Jamontae was making plays all over the field. A physical CB who can play press, jam up WRs while staying in phase and running the route. Jamontae played like a shutdown CB who can line up in the slot or out wide. Using his length and physicality to his advantage he would knock down the pass or break it up at the POA often. He was accurate and on point all tournament long. Smart with the ball I don't think I saw him make a bad decision/pass to hurt the team.
