St. Mary’s Ryken: Offensive players to watch in 2026

He plays with a strong base, quick feet, and a finisher's mentality. Despite being undersized for an interior lineman, he does a great job of consistently winning with leverage. I'm impressed with his burst out of his stance. Wooten's ability to pull, strike, and finish blocks stands out in his highlights. In the WCAC Metro Championship game against PVI, Milburn carried the football 14 times for 151 yards, caught four passes for 57 yards, and scored three touchdowns. On one of his touchdown scores, he lined up in the slot and ran a seam route straight down the middle of the field, splitting two defenders, to catch a 28-yard pass in stride for a touchdown. His 61-yard touchdown run featured him taking the handoff, cutting to the outside, turning up field, running inside of his wide receiver's block, and sprinting the remaining 45-plus yards for a touchdown. He completed 15-of-20 passes for 255 yards and three touchdowns in the Metro Championship game. He threw a beautiful 30-plus yard post past for a touchdown, catching the wide receiver in stride, while standing tall and taking a hit in the process. He's a powerful center who plays with heavy hands, strong leverage, and consistent control at the point of attack. I was impressed with one play where he shows the ability to pull from the center position. I also like that Thir consistently drives defenders off the football and finish blocks with physicality.
