He quickly became a reliable piece upfront and offered some security. He's got a nice developing frame that'll easily take off once in a collegiate lifting program. He's not the biggest lineman, but he's developed his frame and over the past year put on 25lbs. Going on the move and clearing alleys is where he's best. He seeks contact and likes to make impact blocks. He's gone from a big framed guy to a menace on the field for opposing defenses. He's played on the inside and outside of the line and had success. He's great in the running game and can always be relied on as well. He's got an impressive frame, the weight behind it to have success, and once he fully develops could be as physically impressive as anyone. This piece is listed hidden gems, but I struggle to believe Severson will be hidden much longer. The confidence grew almost snap by snap and it was fairly obvious pretty quickly he belonged. He's a good athlete for his size and fairly nimble. I like him because he's able to get underneath and get that leverage when needed, yet has the strength to win the uphigh battles.
