I've been fortunate enough to have lived and scouted in some of America's football hotbeds, including Chicago, SW Georgia, and Florida, as well as nearly all of the Midwest, and I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to trainers and offseason development. LineofScrimmage - based out of the TrainingHAUS in Eagan and run by Minnesotans, some of the better talents to come out of Minnesota in fact, is as good as it gets. Frankly, I'm surprised they aren't turning away Minnesotan, Western Wisconsin, and Northern Iowa linemen, linebackers, and tight ends due to overdemand. Elite coaching at elite facilities, and LOS is only getting better. I've discovered D1-worthy kids at LOS events that were completely off my radar and unknown at the time, and I've also seen regular training attendees make massive strides since their Holiday Camp in December. LineofScrimmage hosted a big-time camp this past weekend that features tons of 1on1 and positional training, headlining speakers such as Joe Alt (Totino-Grace, LA Chargers) and Elerson Smith (MPLS South, Cleveland Browns), the former of which broke down tape with the OL group (how about that!), tips and in-real-time film breakdowns of their reps, and of course, 1v1 competition, including sled pushes, towel tug-of-wars, and pass pro 1v1 reps, which went down Day 2 on Sunday. As the kids say, it was "lit", and PrepRedzoneMN has your exclusive coverage of the Standouts and Top Performers, starting with Saturday's best. Enjoy!

--

Alpha Dog: [player_tooltip player_id='924222' first='Henry' last='Hauge'] (Lakeville South) 2026.

The biggest, baddest dude in attendance, I was stoked to see D1-offeree and highly ranked Lakeville South TE [player_tooltip player_id='924222' first='Henry' last='Hauge'] get some work in at DE, and I'm already excited at the prospect of Hauge potentially playing defense and both ways. If you've been reading my live and in-person recaps from the offseason, you'll remember that we saw Hauge catching passes and getting reps in at a 612QB's Academy session around a month ago. Hauge was looking noticeably bigger then, and seeing him up close and personal this weekend proved the fact that he has put on some serious weight since the summer as well as since the season has ended. At a verified 6'5, Hauge looks like he's crossed that 250 lb. threshold, with a filled out yet still defined lower body with a thick lower body and still some room to grow. You could tell he was still getting used to carrying the weight a bit, but Hauge's raw power, explosiveness, and tools at his size were too hard to ignore on Saturday, both during drill work and competition. Hauge won the sled push competition with four wins that required him to push a weighted sled 15 yards versus multiple opponents. He also went head-to-head against hulking offensive linemen in the towel tug-of-war, earning a couple of impressive wins, and during drill work, I thought he had a springy get-off, good pad level for his height, and could unlock his hips well. The 250 lber. did a great job of consistently working tight of an offensive linemen's outside shoulder and hip, has a smoth and effective chop rip, can throw out a speed rush for good measure, and he doesn't waste movement and shows good overall body control, all as the biggest guy in attendance. Fresh off Air Force, Northern Iowa, and Army offers, Hauge's positional versatility and overall mobility, while adding weight as his life depended on it, makes me bullish on his projection to the next level, no matter where he plays.

Biggest Stock Riser: [player_tooltip player_id='1642211' first='Zivad' last='Robinson'] (MPLS Camden) 2027. DL. 6'4, 265 lbs.

I've been hyping up 612 product [player_tooltip player_id='1642211' first='Zivad' last='Robinson']'s, hinting at a soon-to-be Top 20 debut for a massive sophomore from a Minneapolis Public School competitor who came into the LOS Big Dawgs Camp completely unknown as a prep football prospect and yet tossing out one of the more impressive first-look evaluations I've seen since I've worked with PRzMN. [player_tooltip player_id='1642211' first='Zivad' last='Robinson'] was a refrigerator of a 16-year-old sophomore who was one of the biggest and best put-together sophomores I've seen out of the Land of 10K Lakes since I started working with NFN/PRZ, with giant hands, broad shoulders, and an easy 260+ pound build with impressive thickness in both his upper and lower body. Robinson was also impressive throughout the day of drills and competition, as he showed off good lateral agility and control, which included an effortless jab-step when setting up a speed rush, and he was a high-effort worker with impressive bend for a sophomore of his size. He showed a good get-off, consistent pad level for a taller kid, and had lead in his hands with can't-miss strength in his initial punch. Robinson was also flat-out dominant during competition, which included towel tug-of-wars and a 1v1 OL vs. DL drill that saw the OL attempt a reach block with the DL attempting to set the edge. For the tug-of-wars, he was so dominant against the underclassmen that he was bumped up to go against rising and current seniors, using brute strength to overpower and drag opponents to his cone, and things got flat-out scary during the reach drill. The 265 lber. was unbelievably physically dominant setting the edge, using his very heavy hands and bull-like power to get his hands on and then crumple and fold offensive linemen over themselves. There were a couple reps where the LOS coaches had to blow the whistle early to prevent him from really hurting someone. Not only that, the rising junior was as coachable as it gets, actively listening and then applying the technique in real-time, I also saw him convening with his teammates, getting them up to speed, and then also making sure they understood the drill or move. As mentioned, he had one of the best initial in-person showings I've seen with PRzMN. Expect him to make his rankings debut after this feature goes live!

[player_tooltip player_id='1642211' first='Zivad' last='Robinson'] (2027) towering over Coach Ayo, who is 6'2, 240+

Top Performers

[player_tooltip player_id='1612758' first='Ayden' last='Volek'] (Belle Plaine) 2026. DE/EDGE. 6'4, 210 lbs.

I can credit LOS for bringing Belle Plaine's stud EDGE [player_tooltip player_id='1612758' first='Ayden' last='Volek'] to our attention, and boy are we thankful. If you heard me expound on Twitter this weekend about Volek, you'll have seen this coming, and we'll be highlighting Volek again during the next article when we recap 1v1s. Volek is one of my personal favorite juniors in the class, as well as a big-time rankings riser who is going to continue to see himself climb, and unfortunately, still a well-kept secret on the recruiting trail. At a verified 6'4, 210 with plus length and a frame that a collegiate S&C coordinator would love to get his hands on, Volek is explosive, especially in his first couple of steps off the line, and which helped him finish second in the get-off competition led by the LOS staff, and he's impressively bendy and flexible for a kid of his height, which helps him both run the hoop and drop his hips absurdly well for his size. Volek also showed a ton of twitch during drills, did a great job of staying tight off blocker's hips and generally staying concise in his movements, and was a high-effort, first-in-line type player with a ton of juice. Volek also got a couple of sled push wins, as well as some towel tug-of-war Ws, adding to his overall balanced and eye-catching showing. This dude is going to blow up during camp season, especially with the LOS staff backing him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1537111' first='Jaymel' last='Kalimu'] (Lakeville South) 2026. DE. 6'3, 240 lbs.

Tall, long, and holding his reported 240 pounds very well, Lakeville South product Kalimu has noticeable upside and juice as a pass rusher, putting his skillset on display this weekend at the LOS Big Dawgs Camp. Kalimu is laterally quick, with a dangerous inside move that compliments his absurdly long arms and great first couple steps off the snap. Kalimu got a hard-fought W for the DL's get-off competition, thanks to length and pad level, and also earned two sled push Ws to highlights some strength for good measure. Plus, he did a good job of reading and reacting to OL blocking sets, and did a great job of fighting to hold the edge and not get reached during 1v1 competition. Overall good showing on Day 1 of the Big Dawgs Camp for the Lakeville South junior stock-riser.

[player_tooltip player_id='1359903' first='Maxx' last='Wittmer'] (Spring Valley, WI) 2026. OL. 6'4, 285 lbs.

Representing the Badger State, Spring Valley offensive tackle [player_tooltip player_id='1359903' first='Maxx' last='Wittmer'] made the drive from the Menomonie area to put some work in on a Saturday afternoon, and PRZ was stoked to get some eyes on the towering junior OT live and in person. Wittmer, with legit size, was light on his feet and impressive when working laterally, and was flexible for a 6'4 junior of his size who also possesses an 81" wingspan and 10" hands. Wittmer had a heckuva strong punch and a ton of raw power that showed up in an epic near-minute-long 1v1 tug-of-war with a fellow behemoth from Wisconsin, the video of which we linked below. Wittmer also had a strong showing during the reach drills, agile enough to cross face and fire out of his stance with explosiveness. Big, strong, and athletic, this dude has scholarship OL written all over him.

https://twitter.com/MaxxWittmer/status/1901119727033843946

[player_tooltip player_id='1628458' first='Thomas' last='Englund'] (Hudson, WI) 2025. OT. 6'5, 285 lbs. Committed to MSU-Mankato

Another colossal OL who came from our eastern border neighbor, who also happens to have an outstanding track record of producing top-end prep OL prospects. Englund, who is a great nab for NSIC heavyweight MSU-Mankato, was my favorite OL in attendance, owning a towering frame that seemed to cast a shadow over me when I talked to him, was a brick wall during competition but agile and mobile during drills. Obviously athletic, Englund had a bullying punch and power for days, and showed great footwork, especially when asked to reach or get vertical. I also loved his base, which was impenetrable 1v1, and he had some dominant tower tug-of-war and sled push wins to highlight his power, competitiveness, and toughness. Plus, he was overwhelming at the point of attack during reach drills and never got close to losing on either side of the ball. Kato got a stud.

Honorable Mentions

[player_tooltip player_id='1557624' first='Jacob' last='Lind'] (Jordan) 2026. DE. 6'1, 220 lbs.

Lind was a powerfully built 220 lber. who came into the LOS Big Dawgs Camp coming off a year of solid production with Jordan Hubmen, totaling 10 TFLs and 4.5 sacks as a junior, as well as a reported 28 QB hurries, and I was excited to see that in addition to his thick and powerful lower body, he was a first-in-line type kid who was locked in and there to get better. Lind had a good jab step and was fluid laterally and when changing direction, and he showed off some twitch and a great ability to unlock his hips. Additionally, he earned some Sled Push Ws to highlight some strength, and I overall excited to get yet another new name on my radar from an LOS event.

[player_tooltip player_id='1270395' first='Joe' last='Jackson'] (Apple Valley) 2026. OL. 6'4, 310 lbs.

A hulking 5A OT, Jackson looked good during OL drill work, showing nimble feet on his 6'4, 310+ pound frame, as well as some noticeable COD ability at his size. Jackson was also technically sound and brings a wealth of experience to his resume. We'll get to him more during the Day 2 standouts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1640056' first='Kirubel' last='Teferi'] (Apple Valley) 2026. OL. 6'1, 280 lbs.

I'm bullish on the Apple Valley OL going into next season, and a lot of the Eagles' success at the line of scrimmage is going to be predicated on OG [player_tooltip player_id='1640056' first='Kirubel' last='Teferi']. This is my second or third exposure point to Teferi, and he gets better and more confident every time I see him. With a massive lower body, Teferi's base and balance combination were impressive, and he was a flexible kid who could bend and move well at his 280 pounds. First-in-line kid with high effort, consistent technique, and noticeable leadership, I think he's poised for a strong camp season and senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1633461' first='Pierce' last='Fogarty'] (Minnetonka) 2027. DL. 5'11, 215 lbs.

A player poised to break out on varsity with 6A Big School Minnetonka, Fogarty is a staff and fan favorite with LOS, and he had yet another good showing at the Big Dawgs Camp. Fogarty can bend his hips and explode out of his get-off like he was shot out of a cannon, and is consistent, intentional, and effective with his technique during both drills and competition. He does a good job of not wasting movement and sticking tight off a blocker's outside hip and shoulder, and he keeps his feet active and is a smart player who can read and react well to base, down, and reach blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1188011' first='Christopher' last='Monemy'] (Coon Rapids) 2026. DL. 6'2, 315 lbs.

A massive body at a premier position at the line of scrimmage, Monemy showed some athleticism on his XL build, doing a great job of dropping his hips and turning the corner for a big iDL. Plus, he was heavy-handed and did a good job during the reach block drills against massive OT competition. The big thing with Monemy is going to be continuing to sharpen, develop, and work on his body and getting at the right weight so he can play four straight quarters in the trenches, but big bodies at premier positions like DT are hard to find and Monemy is an obvious athlete at his size and position.

[player_tooltip player_id='1625269' first='Nat' last='Ephrem'] (Lakeville South) OL. 2027. 6'2, 240 lbs.

Was strong and dominant at the point of attack during reach block drills, especially versus his fellow underclassmen competition. Great leg drive, ideal hand placement, and a strong kid who came alive during competition. More on him in the 1v1 feature!

Mike Wiberg (Minnetonka) OL. 2026. 6'2, 260 lbs.

New name out of Tonka that I was glad to add to my radar! Wiberg was a big kid with a hulking chest, noticeable power, especially in his punch and leg drive, and a good frame that looks built to play in the interior at the 6A level.

Brody Soma (East Ridge) LB. 2027. 6'1, 195 lbs.

The lone LB in attendance, Soma is a versatile 'backer who has some juice as a pass rusher and brings noticeable length to the position as well. His frame could really explode the next two years and could easily get to 220ish at the prep level, and he showed a good get-off, a solid understanding of push rush moves and hand usage, and some pop at the point of attack. I liked his bend and quickness as well.

Darion Pigue (MPLS Camden) 2026. DE. 6'1, 200 lbs.

MPLS Camden High School had a strong showing at the LOS Big Dawgs Camp, and a coaches favorite no doubt went to junior DE Darion Pigue. His #1 fan was LOS co-founder and DL extraordinare Ayo Idowu, who love Pigue's affinity and penchant for violence throughout drill work and competition. Pigue was long, aggressive, fluid, and bendy, and possessed one of the most effective speed rushes in attendance. He was also one of the most athletic DL in Eagan, with a frame that could explode in a proper S&C program. Don't sleep on the Minneapolis City Conference kids.
