Snow is perhaps one of the most intriguing prospects I saw on Sunday. Reports circulated about a 40 time ranging around 4.4-4.5, which would be absolutely astounding from a traditional pocket passer like Snow. Outside of his 40 time, Snow showcased impressive accuracy and touch, both on short and deep routes. He's got a snappy release and throws a tight spiral, even when rolling out of the pocket. I love his upside as a first-time varsity starter, and if the 40 time is legit, it's definitely worth a trip to Coon Rapids to watch a summer practice.

I have no idea how Byron keeps producing such high-level talent, but Rodemeyer is next in a long line of top-notch Byron prospects. A returning starter who was an All-District 1st Team member last season, Rodemeyer showcased his athleticism early in the day with a 4.92 40 and a 4.39 pro agility time. When it came to throwing portion of the camp, Rodemeyer stood out with a big arm and did a fantastic job of leading wideouts on deeper routes. Byron looks like it's going to be a problem again, especially with Rodemeyer at the helm.

Kamphoff is an athlete that Mankato East coaches are pretty high on going into the 2025 season, and I see why. The lefty has a solid arm and was able to hit every window on the field throughout the day. Kamphoff boasts a smooth release and does an excellent job of placing deep balls where wideouts can go get them, but where DBs likely can't. Kamphoff also boasts a bunch of positional versatility. He saw a lot of playing time as a varsity RB last season, finishing with just shy of 200 yards with 6 rushing TDs. He could see a big leap in production and technique in his junior year.

Alright. I'm on the Lorenz hype train. Dude has evolved tenfold in the last year, both in terms of physicality and technique. He's a true 6'4" and thick too, perfect for running over a defender. His accuracy has developed rapidly, and his throwing motion has become far more natural. His arm strength has grown as well. He has a returning starter ahead of him in the depth chart, but don't be surprised if we see a high-level QB battle. Worst case scenario, Lorenz gets another development year that fully prepares him to burst onto the scene by his senior year.

Arnold may not have had the best overall showing as a QB, but his potential to play college football is abundantly clear. A true 6'5" with a giant wingspan to boot, Arnold possesses a stunning arm that can drop dimes across the entire field. His accuracy could be improved, but his best plays went stride for stride with the top QBs in the camp. It's important to give him some credit here, too. He started playing QB a year ago, and for someone who's been throwing the rock for under 12 months, he's exceptional. I'm pumped to see what Arnold ends up doing during his junior campaign this fall.

Likely the QB2 for the Bison next season, Wignes is about as high-end as you're going to get for a JV QB. He ran a 4.89 40 with a 4.55 shuttle, but more importantly, he stood out during the throwing portion of the camp later in the day. Wignes has pretty quick feet for a younger prospect and had one of the biggest arms in the class of '27. I'd like to see more mustard on the ball at times, but I was frequently impressed with his ball placement on deep and intermediate routes. With another year of development as a QB, Wignes could emerge as a serious threat during his senior year.

Bahl is my dark horse for most underrated QB I saw on Sunday. The 1A gunslinger threw for over 2,100 yards as a sophomore on varsity and proved that he belonged with the big dogs. He didn't have the biggest arm, but he consistently put stunning velocity on every one of his passes. That, combined with his super snappy release, makes Bahl a very intriguing prospect. He's a three-sport athlete, I hope to see a lot more over the next two years.

Brenny won my unofficial camp breakout player award. The Foley QB could sling it, man. He started 10 games last season, and he looked like a seasoned vet on Sunday morning. His deep ball was what stood out to me the most. Brenny did an excellent job of leading receivers 40+ yards downfield, with them barely having to adjust to the ball. He's got impressive velo on every ball he throws as well. I need to pay heavy attention to Foley next season.

Julson is going to enter his junior year in a QB room practically all to himself. His short to intermediate throws were particularly impressive. Touting solid velo with great ball placement, especially on short routes, Julson looked to me like a QB who would be able to dice up defenses with quick passes. With his first season of varsity football likely around the corner, he could prove to be a QB to watch in 2025.
