The 2025 Prep Redzone 7v7 Circuit continued this weekend in Gainesville, Georgia with the first ever PRZ Southern Brawl. It was a great weekend of football in north Georgia and we've already had a ton of content drop, looking at some of the best players that stood out throughout the weekend and it's not slowing down anytime soon. In this breakdown, we're taking a look at Zilla Zoo out of Georgia after they had a very successful weekend on their home turf. There was no doubt that this was a program to watch coming into the tournament because of the talent they had but these four players really stood out to us when we got a chance to watch them up close this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='401516' first='Jarvis' last='Mathurin'] - 2026 Wide Receiver

Zilla Zoo had some absolute monsters on both sides of the ball but if you ask anyone who watched this team for both days, it was 2026 wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='401516' first='Jarvis' last='Mathurin'] that turned the most heads. Mathurin isn't the biggest wide receiver but he was absolutely devastating in the open field. He would get open consistently and then he would make defenders miss. And this is 7v7 football so all you have to do is get a hand on him, a finger on him, anything and it wasn't happening. Mathurin was electric with the football in his hands and had a really strong weekend. I know after talking with a few people that watched him, in addition to what I already thought, Mathurin was one of the better overall offensive playmakers from the weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='734231' first='Jeremiah' last='Proctor'] - 2027 Wide Receiver

2027 wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='734231' first='Jeremiah' last='Proctor'] would be on our shortlist for 18U freaks from the weekend in Georgia. Proctor immediately grabbed our attention on Saturday with his size and rangy athletic ability. The catch radius he was showcasing throughout the weekend was absurd and something that most defensive backs would have a hard time covering in a one on one situation. And that was bad news for most of the cornerbacks this weekend because they were stuck in those situations often and Proctor would routinely make them pay. He made those tough catches look easy. In January, his recruitment really started to take off with multiple P4 offers and we're assuming that will just be the start because he has a high ceiling moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='885409' first='Kharim' last='Hughley'] - 2027 Quarterback

2027 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='885409' first='Kharim' last='Hughley'] had the benefit of playing on his home turf at Gainesville High School. He also had the benefit of being one of the best quarterbacks in the tournament and he certainly played like it this weekend. Hughley was recently offered by Georgia and his recruitment has really exploded in the last few months and it's easy to see why. There was one pass in particular that caught our eye on Sunday. It was an out route to the left sideline and it is not an easy throw for a righty. Hughley didn't even hesitate as he lofted it over a defender but with enough zip to get it to his receiver in stride for him to make the catch in bounds. Hughley had just about everything working for him throughout the wekeend.

[player_tooltip player_id='236868' first='Sian' last='John'] - 2026 Wide Receiver

2026 wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='236868' first='Sian' last='John'] was in a similar mold as Mathurin where every time we watched Zilla Zoo, specifically on Saturday, John was making catch after catch. The reliability with a receiver with good size and consistent hands made him a go-to target in their offense on Saturday. We got a chance to watch Zilla Zoo a handful of times from start to finish and each time, John really impressed us. We didn't see him make any bad plays and he was always helping his team keep the possession alive and move down the field. He might be flying under the radar right now in Georgia's 2026 class but we'd be surprised if that continues. He really impressed us throughout the two days in north Georgia.
