Every day I'm discovering more and more players that catch my eye and snatch my attention. Below are some players that are starting to rise in my eyes so far this offseason after reviewing their film from 2024.

Brownlee is a hard nosed LB with a big frame built to stuff the inside run. He doesn't have elite speed but he shows he can cover the pass over the middle, and be a punishing LB inside. He reacts well and brings the aggression on his hits. I would love to see him make it out to some camps this spring to show off in front of coaches and scouts, but based on the eye test and the bit of film I got to see from him, I really think Christopher could be a breakout LB this fall.

If you've been paying to some of the smaller schools on the rise over the last few seasons, Ogemaw Heights absolutely has to be on your list of impressive rebuilds. [player_tooltip player_id='1615763' first='Eion' last='Jones'] is the latest player from Ogemaw Heights to really catch my eye. He's another LB playing that old school bully ball in the middle. He flies out of his stance to his assignment and brings power with him. He does a tremendous job of shedding blocks and taking on lead blocks to create a pile. While he isn't the fastest going east and west, he still is effective coming downhill to stop that inside run. Eion could be an offseason away from a big time senior season.

Dominic is a rising 2028 with a ton of potential. He's a Legacy kid who seems to be putting in a lot of effort in bettering himself. He got to learn under one of the best 2025 QBs in the state in [player_tooltip player_id='1298657' first='Lawrence' last='Wells'] III, and you can tell some of that has trickled down to him. He has solid footwork in the pocket with good timing and decisiveness, particularly on short and intermediate throws. He also does a nice job on boots and roll outs, as he is still able to be relatively accurate while moving his platform. With some added arm strength and continued work on fundamentals, Dominic could be a top name in this class before it's all over.

Jax is a really interesting athlete to me. First thing I noticed about him was his athleticism. His first few highlights are solid runs where he makes guys miss and shows solid acceleration. He also has plenty of highlights where he scrambles around in the backfield to buy time, or escape and pick up first downs. The other thing I noticed is his size. He is listed as 6'2 and he definitely looks all of that! He stands tall in the pocket a pretty quick trigger. His dual threat ability is definitely going to be a challenge for defenses to figure out. He has some work to do but I really like Jax's trajectory right now.

I predict that Will is going to have a big senior season. Will is a versatile defender who can play off ball or rush on the edge. A lot of his highlights show his burst off the line and physicality. He sheds blocks with good moves and does a great job of pursuing through the whistle. A few highlights show him lining up over the center and just flat out beating the interior offensive linemen with speed. His versatility and ability to be utilized in different ways depending on the situation will play a big part in his success this fall. I hope to see Will out at some camps this spring, and hopefully I can see him in a game later on!
