Eion does it all for Ogemaw Heights. Just look at his first highlight. He knew the pass to the RB was coming, and he attacked. Great hit to knock the RB backward for negative yardage- Eion knew what his job was and executed it very well.

0:11 is a super similar play. A pass to the flat, and Eion attacks. This time, the RB cuts inside. Eion adjusts, cuts inside, and delivers a punch to the football. Eion is not the most athletically gifted LB, but man do I love his play speed and play recognition.

Eion is also Ogemew Heights’ QB. A few decent throws. Love his upside as a runner.

Eion tape is filled with inside run stops. The first 35 seconds of his tape show great inside stops, time and time again laying good hits on the opposing RB. Then, the highlight at 0:38 is a phenomenal sideline-to-sideline stop. Seriously great job reacting so quickly and getting in on that play. Eion reacts quickly to the run, hits low, and hits hard. A phenomenal assset to the Ogemaw Heights defense.
Plus, Eion has highlights at Quarterback. Passing isn’t his greatest strength, but he’s capable. If a receiver gets open, Eion can get it there. Plus, Eion is a very physical runner- especially helpful in short-yardage situations.

A great player who is deserving of a rankings boost.

If you’ve been paying to some of the smaller schools on the rise over the last few seasons, Ogemaw Heights absolutely has to be on your list of impressive rebuilds. Eion Jones Eion Jones 5'10" | 200 lbs | LB Ogemaw Heights | 2026 State MI is the latest player from Ogemaw Heights to really catch my eye. He’s another LB playing that old school bully ball in the middle. He flies out of his stance to his assignment and brings power with him. He does a tremendous job of shedding blocks and taking on lead blocks to create a pile. While he isn’t the fastest going east and west, he still is effective coming downhill to stop that inside run. Eion could be an offseason away from a big time senior season.
